Current Life
I’m a senior at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science, double-majoring in Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction. (That’s quite a few syllables for a degree, I know.) During my free time, I’m interning as an interaction designer for a Pittsburgh design firm while bewildering my coworkers with my love for all things Pokémon.
Behind the Muppet
In addition to all of the above, I spend a great deal of my time involved with theatre. Currently, I'm serving as President of my university’s student-run theatre troupe (see below for a link) and I’m also a member of an improvisational comedy performance troupe. During my years here, I’ve served as lead actress, supporting actress, dancer, choreographer, producer, public relations staff, set crew, and lighting crew. (Playing 15 feet in the air on a Genie with large lights is actually quite amusing...) In years past, I satisfied my performing urge by performing as a part of Sesame Place’s Entertainment department, where I danced in parades to my heart’s content.
