About therustybrain
A little more personal:

I am a biker (Moto What?), artist, realest and in my professional life work as a IT Admin for a medical school. In the past, amongst so many other things I have been a wood cabinet making apprentice to a Buddhist monk, I am a former United States Marine (circa 1991) and made videos for bands such as Apocalypse Theatre when I owned my own video recording company in the early 1990's.

Whenever I get the chance I am an avid target shooter, preferring the high caliber classic firearms over high tech newer items. My M1 Garand is my favorite rifle and my Cimarron Colt .45 Peace Makers are my favorite handguns.

Although this may be soon to be my fave

Based out of the Washington DC area, I spent my early years surrounded by DC politics and have developed an appreciation for critical thinking. I hope this lifetime of analyzing every angle will assist in giving my reviews a fare and balanced perspective.

I am not a tech guy, well maybe at work, but not in real life. Most of my reviews are written from the prospective of the layman's experience. My reviews will usually not give details on the technical side of the item. Instead I will talk mostly about how the item felt, what were the initial reactions and my personal experiences with it. Often my reviews will read more like a story or personal anecdote than an actual review. Dont look for the deep tech analysis. Instead sit back with a cup of joe and enjoy the often whimsical journey into the product experience.

One last point. Im a busy man, with way too many projects going on to go into detailed editing of this work. You may find many spelling and grammatical errors throughout my reviews. I apologize in advance for these oversights. I truly hope they do not detract from what I hope will be informative and unique opinions on the many products I have reviewed.
