About tomsam
In my thirty years in the electronic systems integration industry I have owned and operated automotive electronics installation and home systems companies, served as a consultant for manufacturers, developed and taught postsecondary Electronics Engineering Technology and Systems Integration programs, written curriculum for Electrical Contracting courses, and been a Design Engineer and Company Trainer for one of the nations leading custom installation companies. I was among the first to earn a Master RESI Lifetime Certification from the International Electronic Technician Association (ETA), and was a contributor to the Consumer Electronics Association's CEA-CEB17 Publication "A Floor-to-Ceiling Guide for Residential Speaker Systems: Planning, Selection and Installation for Optimum Performance", I also participate in the CEA committee developing documentation standards for Residential Systems professionals. I am a lifelong tools and technology geek.
