About twinpeaks15
Raised in Kentucky and Virginia, as unfortunate as that may be, I moved to New York City alone when I was 15 to pursue a career in ballet by studying at a prestigious school at Lincoln Center (where I live). If you've ever seen "Center Stage", you get a pretty decent run-down on my life, minus the happy ending. I own a large music collection that I utilize as escapism, favorites being Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Lauryn Hill, Sheryl Crow and (curiously) Mariah Carey. I love going to or watching movies, since my life doesn't offer much time to have a hobby more time-consuming than that. Ballet runs my life, as it does any serious dancer, and not many people understand that. If you've ever seen the New York City Ballet live, then you might understand. All you New Yorkers, if you have a chance, go seem them this year! It's the Balanchine Centennial, and there are sure to be many, many memorable performances this year.
