About ulysses4
Brooklyn was a wonderful place to be born in the 1940s. With a father who led a band on the Moore McCormack ships, I developed an early passion for travel and music. Dual careers as a litigation defense attorney and a naval line officer have provided many opportunities for travel. An average of two vacation trips to Europe per year and some 100,000 miles per year of business travel have forged some strong opinions on the joys and tribulations of travel. Whether a restaurant or hotel is elegant or down home it can leave you elated or disappointed. I prefer the former. Started a new career as a mediator. Fewer reviews this year as I work on a book on our favorite part of Italy.
