Sometimes you just kinda get into something that you never expected to even give more than a passing thought to. I checked out epinions one day after seeing an advert about it on another website, and I've been hooked ever since.
How I rate reviews
Whether or not I agree with your review, everyone has an equal chance of getting an HR or a R, however your opinion should be complete and accurate. I'm a fiend for details and I will pick apart a review that is inconsistent. I choose never to use NR unless I think the author either misses the mark or if upon further conversation with the author decide that the opinion isn't even consistent with their own thoughts (you'd be surprised how often this happens).
I love toys. DVD, Cellular, PDA, Digital Cameras, etc. I can't get enough of them and I'm always trying to get the latest and greatest (or at least the latest and greatest my pay check will allow).
I also love music. I have very eclectic tastes when it comes to music, though, as I love everything from Metallica to Britney Spears to Kid Rock. It may sound like a weird mix, but I definitely know what I like.
And don't even get me started on movies... I just got my first DVD player and I have bought 4 DVD's, and rented 3. This is in three days.
I try to look at everything from the typical every day point of view, and my reviews try to point things out that I either noticed, or missed when I purchased something. I always try to put the "hidden" extras out there be it where a product falls short, or when it's missing a feature that it really should have.
