Ron Paul for President

He's out there but do you want him? An 'A' student, Duke Medical School grad, Ron Paul, a former United States Air Force flight surgeon and small business entrepreneur, has delivered 4,000 American babies and has more support from our American veterans and American military than any other American candidate. He is a tireless civil servant and POW advocate. He provides an innovative economic stimulus plan for our working poor and working seniors and the population at large. Why aren't things going better for America and the world? Something is rotten in the state of Denmark but who is to blame, is it our leadership? Sometimes I blame myself or I blame Congress for not speaking out more. Complacency is a natural tendency. Perhaps we are all to blame? Do things need to change? How can they? IS more spending the answer? Will that fill the void? These are the tough existential questions of our time. We had 911 planner Bin Laden in Bora Bora and he somehow got away. Just like that. Poof. Vanished. Is it one man we are after or is it an elusive band of serial killers who are often scientifically impossible to identify? Will there always be terrorism and depravity and political unrest or can this be vacuumed up solely or primarily with force and long-term, old-fashioned commitment? How many American lives, how much freedom and money are you willing to give up for yourself and future generations to ensure freedom and survival for yourself and others? Where do we go from here? That is what we must all decide. There are no perfect candidates this year. I say we elect Ron Paul. Really, we can't afford new government programs. You surely won't end up in the snow with him (he worked for free or reduced rates at times as a Doctor you know). Surely, we try harder to help each other weather this storm. Government doesn't trust us or respect us so how can we can give it more control of us and expect or demand better results. For the little things, volunteerism isn't easy, but it only requires your heart. We all have one and if you are reading this, it is beating. We must always protect our young and our old and our natural beauty and I am sure we will continue to do so regardless of whom we elect. No state will have federalized legalized drugs under Ron Paul. That would be a state decision says Paul so maybe California would get medical marijuana for the sick and dying as they languish away and await their last few breaths on the planet. A few puffs probably won't kill them or us, says I. Our youth wouldn't have their lives thrown away for dabbling with drugs under a Ron Paul administration either. I say we maintain a tight border, keep the violent criminals behind bars, maintain our strong military might and return to strict fiscal conservatism. Please consider Ron Paul in '08. Thank you for your time, America.

"Do not ever say that the desire to "do good" by force is a good motive. Neither power-lust nor stupidity are good motives."

Ayn Rand

"Only the dead have seen the end of war."

Plato

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."

Thomas Jefferson

"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."

John F. Kennedy

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes."

Dwight D. Eisenhower

What Ever Happened To Peace On Earth by Willie Nelson

There's so many things going on in the world Babies dying Mothers crying How much oil is one human life worth And what ever happened to peace on earth

We believe everything that they tell us They're gonna' kill us So we gotta' kill them first But I remember a commandment Thou shall not kill How much is that soldier's life worth And whatever happened to peace on earth

(Bridge) And the bewildered herd is still believing Everything we’ve been told from our birth Hell they won't lie to me Not on my own damn TV But how much is a liars word worth And whatever happened to peace on earth

So I guess it's just Do unto others before they do it to you Let’s just kill em' all and let God sort em' out Is this what God wants us to do

(Repeat Bridge) And the bewildered herd is still believing Everything we’ve been told from our birth Hell they won’t lie to me Not on my own damn TV But how much is a liars word worth And whatever happened to peace on earth

Now you probably won’t hear this on your radio Probably not on your local TV But if there's a time, and if you're ever so inclined You can always hear it from me How much is one picker's word worth And whatever happened to peace on earth

But don't confuse caring for weakness You can’t put that label on me The truth is my weapon of mass protection And I believe truth sets you free

(Bridge) And the bewildered herd is still believing Everything we've been told from our birth Hell they won't lie to me Not on my own damn TV But how much is a liars word worth And whatever happened to peace on earth
