"Ask not what Epinions can do for you, but what you can do for Epinions"
I would like to give credit to member
vara and the late JFK for the wording in my bio.
Want to help Epinions out a great deal? Write some Very Helpful and informative reviews on new products, you know, the ones that just hit the streets......And please, if the product isn't in the database use this (FORM). Also if your trying to find something try to google it's name then add epinions to it....
As an
in Cars and Motorsports my responsibilities are to rate other members reviews (according to Epinions Rating Guidelines) to help shoppers find the best content here on Epinions.
Off Topic: The review is on the wrong topic or tells nothing of the product being reviewed.
Not Helpful: The review is offensive, against site rules, not proofread (contains a fair amount of misspellings and bad grammar) or copied from another source. Does not inform the buyer to make a buying decision.
Somewhat Helpful: The review is poorly presented or somewhat inaccurate. Offers shoppers some detail or opinion. May have minor writing or presentation problems.
Helpful: The review is accurate and well-presented and gives an overall recommendation for shoppers.
Very Helpful: The review is exceptionally accurate, contains a significant amount of useful information about the subject, and is very well presented.
Most Helpful: This review stands out from other reviews of the same product as the best. It displays an extreme knowledge that is of high value to the product being reviewed.
EXPRESS REVIEWS:
Show: Short, concise review that sums up a reviewers experience. It gives some detail and doesnt violate any site rules.
Dont Show: Off Topic, contains profanity or otherwise violates the site rules. Not enough or no information that tells about the product.
Generally on low ratings I will leave a comment from time to time helping the member update or improve the review. I do appreciate when a fellow Epinionater corrects or improves their work from a comment I've posted.
If I rated a review of yours I hope you'll check out and rate a few of mine and give it an honest rating. My reviews are unbiased giving the potential consumer hopefully enough information to purchase or not the product I reviewed. Also, I hope your not offended by receiving a less than VH rating. These days I spend as much time as possible researching the internet and stores before purchasing any new product. I can't tell you how many times I bought something and it became a big disappointment. On the other hand it's been money well spent.
On a personal note:
I do enjoy
camping and kayaking in the summer months or the weekend getaways to Reno or Tahoe in the spring and fall. When it gets to the 100 degree mark here in Sacramento I can't wait to get to anyplace that has water. The American River is our favorite and it's only 5 minutes away.
I discovered youtube.com in early (07) by accident, once you've seen a couple videos you could be hooked for a while. See for yourself, I especially enjoyed the RC Helicopters, you won't believe this:
RC Helicopter
Comedy: Crazy Frog Kids
RV Commercial Bloopers (warning: foul language)
Talking Dogs and Cats
I really enjoy using Epinions and will be looking forward to seeing more members participating and listing more products. If you don't see a product listed there's a form you can send in, (suggest a product), otherwise known as (SAP)
