My wife and I recently moved to the Yakima Valley in Washington State, where I practice Internal Medicine. We have lived all the over the country with me hailing from the Northeast (originally) and my lovely wife having been born and raised in the Deep South. We are both fairly active in a variety of social causes, and involved deeply in our wonderful community. This is truly the greatest place in the nation as far as we are concerned, with a diversity in both cultures and geography that must be experienced to be fully appreciated.
We have one terrific son, and six (count 'em SIX) dogs.....many of which have days when they could hardly be described as" terrific"; though we do love them all for some reason. Oh, and we are also pretty fond of the kid.
I fancy myself a bit of a "techie", while my wife has the notion that "those computer things know that I am afraid of them" and thus has very little to do with them. We both enjoy travel, gardening, and great food (she is an unsurpassed gourmet chef), as well as sampling some of the great wines that originate in our part of the state. Also we are CONSUMMATE consumers, and have raised impulse buying to a near art-form (grin). How fortunate it is to have a site like this where other consumers can compare notes, huh?
