About weatherbee1982
Greetings to all who have stumbled across my humble profile. I try my best to keep up with the latest games, but as many of you know, life happens. Particularly life as a graduate student happens, and that royally screws up any semblance of a game and/or social life that one wishes to keep. So many apologies there.
I try to play the living crap out of several games a month when time permits, and let those that deserve to be smoldering piles of crap be branded as such on my reviews. At times, I will stray from the path of gaming review and attempt to review computer hardware or the stray object in the household that I feel I have time to write about. Otherwise, it is all games, all the time. So how do I go about in the examination process? How I rate stuff:

90% to 100% gets 5 stars
80% to 89% gets 4 stars
65% to 79% gets 3 stars
55% to 64% gets 2 stars
Less than 55% gets 1 star

I do have rare exceptions, but this is generally the rule.

I rarely give things the 5 stars, as I truly feel that they have to earn it. I also feel that to earn a 1 star requires the game to be flushed down the toilet just for me to get some pleasure out of it, but that has happened far more frequently than I care to admit. So far, it seems that 2 to 4 stars is the happy medium. I ensure that the product has been thoroughly play tested before I sit here on the keyboard and let everyone know about how I feel. I am amazed at how people can review on game release day (outside of having connections perhaps) all aspects of a video game, computer game or even an object that just hit the streets. However, I digress.
Please feel free to read my reviews within my profile. I will look at all the comments and suggestions to improve my writing, and look through some of your reviews as well. If you'd like for me to add you to my Web of Trust, please feel free to add comments or suggestions to my reviews (or add a "your review stinks!" somewhere to catch my attention... then'll I'll hunt you down like the stinkin' dog that you are). Thanks for reading and have a pleasant day! :)
