About whalewatcher
It must have been my Viking ancestors who instilled the love for traveling in me. Little else is as satisfying and mind expanding as learning about the many different parts of our globe, the diversity in cultures and the history, but foremost, to witness the bountiful beauty Mother Nature has bestowed on us, unappreciated by so many. But it's the oceans and the secrets within which fascinate me the most, among them the whales - those gentle giants almost brought to extinction at the greedy hands of man who, himself, has much to learn about the art of long term survival. Forever a tomboy, I love the challenge of sports. At my age, the joy of still being able to compete has surpassed the satisfaction of winning! My careers have been as diverse as my travels, from training horses to flight attendant and, for the last 17 years, real estate professional. Never a dull moment! I hope that the humble writings of my many travel experiences will encourage you, the reader, to venture out into the world, but if you can't or won't, perhaps I can be successful in giving you a glimpse of it through my eyes. Enjoy!
