I have a liberal arts degree (AB) from a small, private women's college in New York State. I majored in Mathematical & Physical Sciences (concentration in Computer Science) and minored in Communication Studies. *** My professional experience includes software engineering and retail sales, advertising and publishing. Currently I am writing my first novel in the fantasy genre with hopes of a new career as an author. *** Hobbies I enjoy include: historical re-enactment (medieval, ancient); organic herb and vegetable gardening; hand sewing; reading mystery novels & other; Judaica; non-toxic living with an environmentally sound focus; learning to fix up my solidly built (but dreadfully dated in decor) old house. *** On a personal note, my greatest delight is being married to my brilliant and just generally wonderful husband since May 2001. We welcomed our first son to the world in 2003. Our second son was born in 2007.
