About WritingLife

Writing Life is back -- and closing in rapidly on the coveted Ph.D. In the fall I begin my research at last, O Joy, and then I write and then I shall be DONE.

I still write -- nearly thirty books for children to my credit so far. Non-fiction is easiest to break into, as the school and library markets need a steady stream of easy, accessible books for kids to use when writing reports. Not that it makes for easy reading. Let's see YOU try to bring the topic of genetic engineering down to the fifth grade level!

Favorite obsessions: Writing, gardening, writing, travel, writing, books, writing... did I mention I write?
