I'm pretty savvy with PC hardware & software. I've been on the internet since high-school and am a natural-born electronics junkie. Brand new baby born October 2012, little sister to twin almost-8-year-olds. So now I get to do most of writing and reviewing one-handed! My sense of humor ranges from witty & intellectual to downright silly & "punny". I feel I'm a solid writer who can express compelling arguments and thoughtful, balanced opinions.
I do my best to read & rate consistently while being unaffected by bias, politics, or popularity. I'm considered a 'notoriously tough rater' by some, but 'fair and knowledgeable' by others. Ratings are earned not deserved (i.e. A 'helpful' rating doesn't mean I'm nasty or 'downrating'). People make mistakes, so those who point out mine won't find me defensive, egotistical, or uncompromising. If you have an issue, question, or feedback simply email. I do my best to uphold high standards of integrity, ethics, and easy-going playfulness.
Writing to collectively help guide people through a sophisticated sea of products is noble, so long as monetary reward doesn't taint the intent. Obscenity, gutter-humor, and rants of frustration are crutches of the inarticulate.
I'm not really a Munchkin. The handle that I've had since the bulletin board days of 1993-1997 still makes me giggle, so I'm stuck with it. (Last updated: Jan 2013)
