I wandered onto this site in the hopes of contributing some of my opinions to an established review resource. There have been a lot of things lately that I have been wanting to review, and this seemed like an excellent place to do it.
My interests include computers (I have a custom-built comp and a Lenovo SL500 currently) and other electronics, cars (currently have two mustangs and a rail buggy), music (playing and listening), sports and outdoor equipment, and various other things.
The major drive for me to get on here was the review my motorcycle gear. I had a hard time finding good reviews when I was doing my initial shopping, and I’ve been able to experience my gear in a wide range of environments now. I wanted to afford others the comprehensive reviews that I was unable to find for myself.
I am a father of two awesome boys, and a husband to a recent recruit to this site :)
I got my degree in Mechanical Engineer at Tennessee Technological University in 2008, and I'm currently working as a mechanical design engineer in Huntsville.
You may have also noticed I'm a Christian Rock junkie. I grew up on the stuff, and find myself returning to it again and again. I've written a pretty good set of reviews on my favorites, but I still have many to do.
My WOT
If you have found yourself on my Web of Trust or are hoping to do so, here's how I work. I really enjoy reading reviews, but I tend to judge the review more than the author. Because of this, I more often think "this is a great review" than "this is a great author", so my WOT is a little slim. When I do add someone, it is because they as an author managed to catch my attention. This could be through the message boards or through an excellent or entertaining review. Once I'm intrigued, I'll go back through a selection of your old reviews and read them, perhaps even rating a few. If I like what I see, you're in!
If you have added me to your WOT, I hope you have done so based on me as an author and not because I added you or because I have a cute baby. Although... he is really cute, isn't he? Anyway, I thank you and hope to continue to produce reviews worthy of your WOT.
