Pros: Easy Resume Builder, Great Search Agent Cons: No Statistics on Employer Searches, No Contacts from Employers
Career Builder is one of the many job search websites I have employed while trying to find a job. Like most employment websites, Career Builder has good and bad features.
In my opinion, the most impressive feature of this site is the resume...

Pros: One-stop shopping allows searches of other job-search sites, Automatic Search Agents. Cons: Some repetition of jobs - Same jobs, just listed on different sites.
O.K, You've been working for the same company for years, and suddenly you end up on the street looking for another job. Or maybe you just can't take it any longer at your present company and you want to look at other opportunities. Or maybe you just hate...

Pros: Great advice, prominent job search area Cons: Mega job search is not as far reaching as it seems
In addition to job search engine and resume posting, careerbuilder gives you access to tips and articles that can help to polish your skills and presentation to an employer. Why is this important? Job search is great, but your job search won't get you...

Pros: The mega search engine finds results from several various engines, good advice for newbies. Cons: Regular search engine not as useful as others, articles and tips are just the same old info.
This site did not impress me a great deal. I will agree it has a lot of information that is helpful to the new college graduate, or other persons who are not well-versed in the job hunting arena. However, the articles and tips are not anything that...

Look, the only reason I use Career Builder is because my local paper uses this as the clearing house for its online Employment section. The job search function is limited, not able to support the more technical queries such as non-IT Project Management...

As a result of this merger, the old Careerbuilder site is gone. The site they chose to keep online is Headhunter. If you type CareerBuilder.com in your browser, you will be directed to the Headhunter page. For the most part, see my review on Headhunter...

I have not had a good experience with Career Builder at all! I receive spam by the thousands. If you have previously blocked companies from viewing your resume and contacting you, DO NOT change your resume in any way. The blocks are removed. That ...

Pros: Free and vast database of jobs Cons: More useless e-mails than you can shake a stick at
While it seems unfair to whine about a site which offers so much for free, I've found myself completely underwhelmed by the Career Builder web site.
Admittedly, both my wife and I were seeking rather specific jobs when we decided to input our...

Just after I finished my epinion on Monster and Career Path I checked out this website, now I regret the high ratings that I gave those two sites. This site has every option that I liked about both those websites plus a little more. Forget about...
