Pros: FREE STUFF! Cons: Too bad they don't sell patience.
I've heard many varying opinions about Cyberrebate which can be encapsulated as follows:
1. They have free stuff.
2. You have to wait forever to get your money back.
3. Customer service is lousy.
I've used Cyberrebate...

Pros: 15 orders for over $7000 and NO PROBLEMS Cons: The wait for the rebate checks.
I have purchased over $7,000 worth of free-after-rebate items from CyberRebate and have had absolutely no problems with them. I have placed a total of 15 different orders, and all items ordered were delivered within 4 days. So far, I have received...

Pros: Opportunity to practice delayed gratification (rebates) quickly (ship time) Cons: Potential to loose your shirt via credit card
I have used Cyberrebate three times now and have had good results each time. The first two times, I didn't know about a caveat when using my credit card or how to protect myself in such instances.
Credit card issuers must give you at least 60...

Pros: None Cons: They cheat you out of rebates every way they can
I purchased several items which were advertised as having 100% rebates on 12/2/00. My order number was 1318050. The items were shipped on 12/5/00, received by me on 12/11/00 and I sent in the rebate forms and UPC symbols on 12/18/00.
I...

Pros: Free Stuff Cons: Stress and fear of not getting your rebate check
I've just recently made some large purchases at CyberRebate and after reading some of the concerns on here, I am obviously a bit nervous about getting my rebate checks. I made my purchases with American Express and so consulted them as to any recourse I...

Pros: None Cons: Everything
I don't think anyone has figure out how Cyberrebate.com makes their money.
The real issue here is the capitalizing of other people's money [without disclosure]rather than traditional commerce.
Cyberrebate has now gone 100% FREE,...

Pros: If the process works, items are almost free Cons: As of today, can't contact them at their phone number!
I have been using cyberrebate for almost a year. They have always been accesible, and in the past few months-added live phone support and faxing in allowed if they "didn't get" the original submission. In the past few days, the email replies have been...

Pros: Nearly free esp with no shipping/ tax Cons: Long wait for rebate now 10-14 weeks. Item quality average
I have made 3 purchases so far and what i have learned is that
- only good for 100% free stuff
- quality is not consistent
- rebates take really long: site states 10-14 weeks. so buy right before or on your credit card statement closing...

Pros: If it actually worked, it'd be cool Cons: It closed down, and still owes me 90 dollars.
Cyberrebate seemed like a cool thing to me. All I had to do was buy something, send in my rebate form, and I'd get it for free. In fact they offered me a ten dollar off coupon so I was going to actually get paid ten bucks to buy a Nintendo 64 game. That...

Pros: Buy a product, get a rebate Cons: They have gone out of business
Cyberrebate.com was a company that sold products featuring a rebate; many rebates were for the full price of the product ( not including taxes and shipping & handling ); their selecting was a general set of products available ( household products, ...

Pros: None Cons: They never gave me the money, avoided my calls, e-mails and faxes.
I beg of you not to make the same mistake I did. I always check eopinions.com to see what other people have to say about products, websites, and everything possible. However, before using Cyberebate.com, I did not. The worst mistake. I lost 243.00...

Pros: NONE Cons: Many
Firstly, their cheap products are priced more than 3 times what you would pay for them retail. Secondly, my experience with CyberRebate.com was horrible!!! I tried to purchase an over priced $100.00 rebate radio from them. Once I typed in my credit card...

Pros: Get stuff for free if you fill out paperwork. Cons: Stuff is overpriced. Chance of not getting money back and getting screwed.
I knew someone who used this service for a while to get free stuff, which they later sold for money on eBay. This worked pretty well until CyberRebates ran into financial difficulties and stopped paying out rebates. Unfortunately, I don't know what's...

Pros: Were there ever truly any? Cons: Ideal case for yet to be published auditing books
What a scam! This IS online fraud!!! It has been over FIVE MONTHS since Cyberrebate.com received my rebate and I never saw the refund.
I watched suspiciously ever increasing paid rebate amount on their website, thinking, where is MY money? How...

Pros: They claim you can get something for nothing Cons: They have declared bankruptcy - so no free ride. Seemed like a pyramid scheme
At first I thought this must be a pyramid scheme (a con artist scam to take your money) but all these reviews seemed to say that they actually received checks! So I tried it. I ordered a portable CD player for $260 (about $200 over retail) with the...

Pros: Promises of Free Stuff, user-friendly site Cons: Yet to see rebate check, poor customer service, no response from inquires
This was a great program in theory because everybody loves free stuff...but there's always a catch and in my case, a very bad experience. I ordered a $179 DVD movie with the promise that it would be 100% free (even shipping!) with a rebate. I correctly...

Pros: None Cons: Outrageous prices and the ultimate rip-off
CyberRebate executive should be tried and convicted of running an elaborate scam. They knew all along that they were gonna stiff folks out of millions. I now blame myself because I got too greedy and spent hundreds of dollars with them. The products...

Pros: NONE Cons: IT'S A SCAM
I can't guarantee that you will get all of your money back, but give it a fight before you give up. I have lost hundreds of dollars through this scam and many others have lost even more with little or no hope of getting them back.
There are...

Pros: It seemed like such a great deal. Cons: Now they have my money, but hopefully I'll get it back.
Those of you reading this now may be in the same situation that I am in -- frustrated and angry that Cyberrebate.com has filed for bankruptcy, knowing that we may never get our rebates back. I was very hesitant to order anything from the Web site, but I...

Pros: More-or-less "free" stuff Cons: Bankruptcy means you won't see your money back
It was bound to happen. Hopefully, if you used this service, you didn't get burned too badly.
I used this service on and off for about a year. Partially through dumb luck but also a bit of healthy skepticism, I am owed a grand total of $120...
