I'd intended to try three online photo printing services, compare the prints, and decide on the best. I tried my local store, and based on Epinions reviews, Shutterfly and EZPrints.
EZ Prints won hands down. The local shop cropped the...
Pros: low-cost, fast service Cons: takes time to upload photos
My first order through EZ Prints for about 120 4x6 prints was handled quickly and easily. I have used them a few times since and have always been very satisfied with the service, quality, and ease of connecting with them. Their software (which you...
Almost as soon as I got my first digital camera, I had a need to print my digital photos. Like most consumers, I chose the do-it-myself route and purchased a Canon bubblejet photo quality printer, a photo quality cartridge and ink and various types of...
I love ezprints! I am so picky when it comes to my picture processing and I believe ezprints is the best on the web. I was with ofoto for quite a while and liked them but decided I'd try to find one that offers a matte finish like the professionals do....
Pros: Selection, Price, Quick Service, Fast Web Site Cons: No On-Line Storage, No On-Line Order Status, Quirky Handling of Orientation, Some Color Variation
I'm delighted to have found EZ Prints. It stands above its competitors for my semi-professional printing needs.
As a photographer I have used many different developing labs, and recently I began using Ez-prints. I found that their interface was the simplest and most convent to use. They offer a wide range of print sizes in both 8x10 ratio and 8x12. They also...
Pros: They're VERY fast. I mean EXTREMELY fast, which is great... Cons: ...but they charge an arm and a leg for international shipping.
I can't say enough good things about EZ Prints. They're fast, reliable, and, better yet, they offer fast international shipping! They even have a choice between glossy and matte paper, which I haven't been able to find anywhere else, except on one...
Pros: Easy Helpful for beginners Cons: No bell and whistles
Ezprints.com is one of the better Digital photo printing sites if you are a total beginner, they offer several guides, tips and tricks for getting your resolutions correct. They have Digital Camera links FAQ’s and general guides and helpful hints. ...
Delivery speed = atrocious.Customer Care = deceptive.Refund = i had to do more work than they (ever) did.I placed an order on August 23rd. I paid for 2-day shipping.I received an email 5 days later saying my order had shipped and wouldn't ...
Although the prints were good I had several problems with the order. The customer service is non-existent (goes to outsourced company).
The prints were fairly good - and printed on Kodak paper - which is better than the flimsy Fuji paper. Packaging is good as well. However...
I was overcharged for shipping. 4 emails to customer service and 2 phones calls later - there is no resolution.
Very slow service - took almost a week to receive a batch of 4x6's even though I live a couple of hours drive away from their lab.
There is no excuse for being this hard to work with. The resolution to my problems could be handled quickly but I feel like I cannot actually reach anyone who actually works for Ezprints. Very frustrating!
Ordering was efficient and very easy. Navigation was clear an simple. by crowleyvt ,Dec 27 '05
This is my first order with ezprints and I am very disappointed in the quality of shipping and handling of my print. I just received my 16x20 print. It was rolled up in a tube and arrived crinkled, wrinkled, and soiled. Finger prints and heel of hand print on the center portion. It was rolled up in a very careless manner. The inside corner of a print was bent and several places (5) have wrinkles 2-3 inches long showing a break in the coated paper.
I have called and sent email but there has no contact from ezprints to see if it is possible to get a replacement or my money back. My experience suggests that EZ Prints is not so EZ after all. I know problems can happen but not to replace or be responsible for the mistake is unreasonable.
I do not recommend using them unless you are willing to take the chance that everything will be OK. If there is a problem you may not hear from them as in my case. I do not recommend them.
EZ Prints = Poor Choice for Photo Finishing by klepic ,Dec 19 '08
I'm writing to express my extreme displeasure with EZ Prints. I'm not exactly sure what has happened to the quality of service in both prints, order processing and shipping; but something significant has happened in recent history to impact the level of the company. I made the switch to EZ Prints some time ago based on the high accolades many professional photographers made about the service. Using the old interface, I was pleased with the results and level of service I received, but since the transition to the new interface; the lack of control of my photos in the application and the extremely poor service I received on my most recent order, I have no choice but to abandon EZ Prints as my "go-to" choice for photo finishing. I do not intend on using EZ Prints again, and hope that this message finds it's way to the appropriate individual who has the power to steer the company back in to the level it once was.
Respectfully, Kevin Lepic Principal Designer / Photographer Zero1Studios
