Pros: Great idea Cons: Might never earn enough money this way to end Cancer, but it's worth a try.
I checked out the End Cancer Now site recently after discovering that my mother has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. My grandmother died of stomach and breast cancer in the 1960's before much research had been done in the area of cancer ...

Pros: Wonderful Cause. Ease of use. Cons: SHUT DOWN OPERATIONS AFTER 9-11. A casualty of war.
It is hard to fathom all of the changes, good and bad that followed the terrorist attack of 9-11-01. One tragic consequence is that the donations and advertiser support to endcancernow.com dwindled. When I tried to make a donation the other day I was...

Pros: Was Just Shut Down Today Cons: Paid Less Than Epinions
I’d like to start by making a promise to everyone. Just because I’ve discussed cancer in my RID Lice Killing Shampoo review, also touched upon it in my latest General Epinions’ Comments editorial, and am now covering cancer in even more detail in this...

Pros: No money out of your pocket Cons: none
I love to help people out when I can. I have a caring heart that gives and gives all the time. I give so much that I usually do not have money for myself. I was in the Big brother program I also sponsor a kid in Mexico.
I even used to volunteer...

Pros: Just a click a day can do so much Cons: No one ever goes to the site that advertises on this site
Here's what I do when I get to work in the morning. I turn on my monitor. (The computer's already on.) I take the first sip of my coffee and go to three sites in quick succession. First I go to thehungersite. Then I go to care2.com. Then I go...

Pros: If it helps aid cancer research, it's worth a try. Cons: Can the necessary dollars to find a cure be raised this way?
I checked out this site recently after discovering that my mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Some of this cancerous monster has apparently now spread into her lungs and she struggles to contain the constant cough that now plagues her.

Pros: Straight forward and quite easy to donate for free! Cons: Not a lot of statistics here if that is a concern to you.
I am 1 of those people who wants to help anyone and everyone that I can but unfortunately I am on a very fixed and limited budget which makes it hard to give to anyone. Thus, I went out in search of free donation sites such as this one. I like this...

Pros: The perfect 'click-to-donate' site Cons: They need more sponsors (hint, hint epinions :)
End Cancer Now may not be the most attractive site on the 'net (it's very barebones and straightforward graphically), but it's the best click-to-donate site I've come across.
How It Works
When the End Cancer Now homepage...

Pros: helping find a cure Cons: none
Back in 1993 my fiancee died of cancer, and now in 2001 I can do something to help his sons. Cancer runs in the male side of the family you see, no male in his family has ever lived past the age of 45, he was only 40, leaving behind 4 sons.

Pros: Free donations to the American Cancer Society Cons: very small donation amount per person per day.
This site makes a claim that seems to set it apart from anything else I've seen on the internet. They claim that they are donating money to cancer research. I had to wonder about a claim like that so I decided to visit the site and see how it...

Well, maybe someday this headline will be read around the world. Unfortunately, the time is not yet here. You can help though, to fund cancer research so that maybe a cure can be found.
EndCanerNow is a website which was set up so that you and...

Pros: you can quickly and easily help for free Cons: too many choices
This is one of the first "one-click" charity sites I discovered. The concept is simple—you visit the site daily and click the button. Corporations donate money to charity based on the number of clicks per day. It's free to you and only takes a few...

I just did this yesterday and...

563,100
That's the number of Americans that are expected to die of cancer this year. Amazing, isn't it? Over 1/2 million people will lose the fight over this dreaded disease.
So, what can we do to learn and do more about it?...
