Pros: pay at $20 Cons: bar never works, crashes computer frequently, payrate not what promised
After trying numerous other paid-to-whatever programs, I decided to try GoToWorld. I recently got a 19-inch monitor for the express purpose of running more pay-to-surf programs. Well, I must say that GoToWorld is a BIG disappointment! As so many have...

Pros: get "paid" for surfing, free to join Cons: the actual "pay", buggy software
I have been a member and user of GoToWorld for six months. Like most of the other people involved with this company, I joined under the premise that I would get paid $0.40 an hour for a maximum of 40 hours a week to surf the web. For the first couple...

Pros: None Cons: A Big Waste of Time
I did this and half the time I didnt get my points credited to me.
I spent hours and hours on this thinking that I would get paid for it.
Its another one where if it sounds too good to be true things.
I am glad that I came here...

Pros: Some $$ For Surfing * Increasing Referral Structure * Cons: Over-Exaggerated Payment Estimates * Confusing Website
This is a continuation in my series to talk about my experiences with each and every one of these ad-viewer programs. GoToWorld.com is somewhat similar to other Get-Paid-For programs, with several twists on the concept.

Pros: Interesting Browser Cons: Too Many to List Here!
I, like many, fell to the lure of the potential for money for doing what I do anyways. I signed up for GoToWorld and tried it out. Well, they do say there is a sucker born every minute and I guess, at least this once, that was me. They claimed that...

Pros: professional website, lots of free content and useful information, decent statistical reporting Cons: People are leaving this program as fast as they join, payments are small
Update: September 7, 2000
This program rates a ZERO. I haven't been paid in a while and, for the first 7 days of September, my 197 direct referrals, 30 associates and 10 connections have surfed a total of 14 minutes... earning me less than 1...

Pros: Nothing (Just try it to see) Cons: Ok, if there are no Pro's, than the whole program is a Con
What does the Internet have too many of that we can do without? The answer is simply, online moneymaking sites. Now I’m not talking about stock quotes or tips on how to make money, I am talking about services that convince you to sign up to their...

Pros: You can eek out a small amount of money Cons: It will take you forever!
After AllAdvantage made their big debut with the first pay-to-surf program, dozens of other companies have jumped on the bandwagon. Enter GoToWorld.
Last summer, GoToWorld furiously was recruiting members for their get paid to...

Pros: Free, Get paid Cons: Takes forever to reach $20 limit
BEFORE I START OFF: I would like to say I received my first check today. You will see why this company still gets one circle or star later on.
GoToWorld.com was one of the first companies that paid users to surf the web. It...

Pros: They Talk Big Cons: Repeated Browser Crashing (Freezes Your Computer, Forcing You To Reboot), Pay Out is Pathetic, They Are Not Well Organized
I just read mackchm's informative Epinion on Gotoworld and had to express my Epinion as well. First, let me just say that they talk a good talk, but that's about it. When they first started advertising about their instant downloadable browser, It...

Pros: Great mini portal Cons: horrible pay rates.
In my opinion Gotoworld is offering more than it can actually give it's users. I've been a member for several months thinking that I can make some extra cash at 40 cents an hour. Well, that turned out to be more of a joke then anything else.

Pros: pretty cool bar Cons: lies, lies, lies
I had hoped this was the next All Advantage. I really would have liked that since I easily fulfill 25 hours in a month. I tried GoToWorld, as did my husband.
At first I was pretty happy with them. I did notice it was a bit difficult to get...

Pros: Free Cons: Conflicts, and they did not answer my email
Oh great, another surfer browser to try out. GoToWorld looked like something I would like to try out.
All I had to do was surf the net and recommend. Plus I would be making a little cash on the side for household expenses.
I ended...

Pros: Good looking/sleek viewbar. Cons: Not many viewbar/member options, no extra benefits or added money making opportunities at website, terrible payout rates and CPM is bad thing.
No good pay rates, no interesting benefits, terribly hard to use website. Yes, that is Goto World in a nutshell.
GoToWorld.com really thought they hit it big with their software. Hopefully to attract gullible surfers, who believed that they...

Pros: able to move the banner around Cons: big browser, low pay rate
GoToWorld.com, along with AllAdvantage.com, was one of the first get paid to surf programs that came out. It sounded like a great idea and I signed up, but it was just a lot of hype and big promises. They promised a pay rate of .40 cents an hour, which...
