Pros: Speedy delivery to your kitchen. Cons: Doesn't have EVERY item, but just about.
You have to try HomeRuns.com. They have everything that I was looking for, at the same prices as the store. The produce delivered was of better quality than I have ever seen in a store. You are given a frame of two hours (which you choose) that...

Pros: I can't say enough - It's wonderful!
I have never had a problem! Cons: More food options and taking triple coupons would be nice. $2.50 service fee
All right everyone, bear with my because I am about to go on a rant and a rave on just how wonderful I think this food service is and how helpful they have been to me.
I am 9 months pregnant with my second child(who was born 9 weeks premature), and...

Pros: high quality, fast & pleasant service, reasonable prices, accept coupons Cons: selection should be same as stores...isn't quite that broad
I chose homeruns.com because I had a $10 off coupon. I also considered peapod, but hadn't heard as many positive things about them. I shopped on the internet, and was impressed with the selection except for vegetarian items. They didn't have my...

Pros: Just like any other web grocer Cons: Other web grocers offer more for less money
To begin with, HomeRuns demands more hassle, provides lower quality produce, lower quality customer support and finally slaps a service fee on top. Did I mention the cluttered interface?
HomeRuns' website, even the recently renovated one,...

Pros: convenience, service, and reliability Cons: website could use a little streamlining to speed your process up
I moved into my Boston apt and was dismayed to find that there was no local grocery store. I heard from my neighbors about Homeruns.com, and gave it a try.
I am now a loyal customer, ordering about every 3 weeks. At first, I was hesitant to...

Pros: convenient, helpful people Cons: none
I have been using homeruns now for about 9 months. Never once did I have a problem with this company. I place my orders online (site is user friendly) check off what time of day they should deliver to me, and choose a payment option.
The next day...

Pros: Saves time Cons: Your standards might be higher than theirs...
I, too, have been using HomeRuns for quite some time now.
Over the past eight weeks the quality of the service has tumbled markedly.
Lately I’ve received many items past their expiry date. I’ve received items that were crushed due...

Pros: Conveinient Cons: Do not see what you are getting
I have used Homeruns a couple of times so far. So far I love this service! You shop online for exactly what you want. When you get the groceries everything is fresh and properly stored. I would recommend homeruns to anyone who has a busy life! There is...

HomeRuns.com is greatly missed!
by jonlroberts ,Jun 23 '08
HomeRuns.com was the greatest service ever. I am very sad they went out of business. I always thought they were charging too little for the excellent service they provided.
As a single guy, I tended to eat out for most of my meals and that was very expensive. I didn't have the energy and time to shop after working all week.
When HomeRuns.com went into business, I was an immediate customer. They saved me a huge amount of money by making it much easier for me to cook at home.
The product selection from HomeRuns was excellent and the quality of the fresh foods was always great. The delivery was always on-time and service always with a smile. I even had to practically wrestle the drivers to take a tip. I would have to block the exit before they would take a silly $5 tip! So funny!
I have greatly missed HomeRuns.com. They certainly added to my quality of life while they were around. Thanks HomeRuns!! Come back soon!
