I recently checked out www.job-hunt.org. I try to look at many (if not all) of the different employment sites out there, and after awhile, it is easy to identify what is good and what isn't so good.

Cons: Doesn't help in finding a job, all it is a link service.

Well I checked out job hunt.com today, and thought it was going to be a search engine for jobs. But boy was I wrong. All there is to it is links to all the major newspapers that have a web site. You would have to search through each newspapers'...

Pros: you can see the jobs qualifications before you call or go to it.
Cons: sometimes hard to find job titles you are looking for.

I selected this site because it stood out in front of me and I clicked on it and I got a job. Sometimes we also go to www.411web.com. That site also has alot of good to it also.

Job-Hunt.org is a great site for finding a job! There are over 7,300 unique, carefully selected links to employers and/or job search resources - over 5,000 employers by state!

Also excellent advice on how to use the Internet to find a job, from how to protect your privacy to picking the best (safest) job sites to use. There are also articles on keeping your resume out of spam filters, using Google, safe email and blogging, and many more.

There's an important emphasis on using networking to find a job, including networking tips ("Tapping the Hidden Job Market") and a very unique collection of company (and military) "alumni" groups, plus job search support groups by state.

The first thing I did was post my resume on EmploymentCrossing.com. This now allowed my resume to be viewed by thousands of employers. With in the first couple of days I received dozens of emails and phone calls from companies wanting to interview me. I actually had to sort and pick who I really wanted to interview with. It was such a refreshing feeling to have the companies that were interested come to me, instead of wasting time sending my resume to companies that weren’t interested.
