Ordered product, e-mail in several days indicating I should contact the company. After several trys were able to reach them only to find out that they were unable to get the product, even though they had charged my c. card. Tried for other model, ordered same, then they called to indicate if this was not satisfactory, the product was non-returnable. This whole process was too time consuming and most unsatisfactory. I ordered a fancy copier through this company, because the price was right, ratings okay. The order was placed on 9/17/03, and then 2 whole weeks later, I get an e-mail stating that it has been shipped - with shipping method FEDEX and confirmation number UPS. I figured it was a glitch and waited... and waited.
Then I get another e-mail about 2 weeks afer that saying that my item is backordered, would I like to wait or cancel. I call the company saying that they already mailed me telling me they shipped it, and the customer service agent tells me, "Oh, that is messed up." I explained that I don't care if it is messed up in his opinion or not - - is my order indeed shipped or backordered - and he tells me it is backordered. I ask him why it has taken a MONTH for them to tell me this as I would have ordered elsewhere, his reply: "I told you, it's all messed up. You want to cancel now or what?"

This is the second time I have purchased from this vendor. The phone call requirment may have been due to the fact I am in Canada. Some vendors have additional payment/credit card verification requirments for cross border purchases.

The Visioneer scanner was delivered promptly. The scanner is excellent and met my expectations of performance.
The Casio Disc Title Printer was delivered promptly. The ink ribbon was to be included in the package. It was not included. I had to go to Staples and pay $10 for the ink ribbon. Other than this inconvenience the product works as expected. Read more
