Ordered on Saturday and would have expected it to ship on Monday, but it didn't ship until Wednesday. Delivery was prompt once shipped. As I read in other reviews, they did call to "confirm" order and then tried to sell me accessories. I was prepared and said no at first, but they upped the offer and I did accept what I think was a good deal on some desired accessories. Over all, price was great and service was good. I would shop there again.

I must admit that after I placed the order, I was fearful that it was going to be a horrible experience. But, it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to doing business with them again. I received my camera 6 days after placing the order. I had to make a phone call to confirm the order and there was some salesmanship, but not pressure.

When I placed my order everything was "available" so I ordered 2nd day delivery. I was then e-mailed that there would be a weeks delay in my order. I got part of my order and my credit card was charged the full amount. A week later I received another part with the invoice showing that the car kit was on back-order. I've been charged but never told when to expect the rest of my order. (?)

You cannot beat the prices here. Further, I didn't have to pay sales tax, and shipping was $.01. In addition, it was shipped fast (within 3 days).
The only 4 things I did not like about the experience (and these are minor compared to the plusses) were:
1. Having someone call me to sell me upgraded shipping and an extended warranty. I knew I didn't want the warranty before he called. Also, he made it sound like shipping was precarious unless I upgraded. I didn't like that. That makes Abe's look bad, in my opinion. All shipping options should be as safe as possible or simply not offered. Period.
2. On the website, the company insists that you open the box while the shipper is still there to inspect the TV before signing. Otherwise, you cannot return a TV. However, while talking to an agent there, he said that the shipper won't wait for you to inspect the inside (which is true for UPS) and that if there is a problem with the inside, I should call Abe's Of Maine immediately. Thus, the instructions are not so clear for this procedure, especially with standard UPS shipping. I was afraid I would open the box, and the screen would be completely broken or something. Then I would call Abe's, and they would say, "Too bad; you signed for it." Then I would have had to go to Sony, and who knows what they would do if the TV was damaged during shipping. Luckily, none of this happened!
3. When I purchased the TV online, I printed out the receipt. The TV cost $2159.00, and shipping was $.01. The grand total was $2159.01. I still have my printed receipt. However, when I received the TV and took out the receipt from the box, it showed the TV cost as $2159.99 with $.01 shipping, for a grand total of $2160.00. Obviously, a $.99 cent different doesn't bother me personally because I still got a great deal. However, I was a little suspicious that Abe's may do this on every sale. Adding a dollar to every sale adds up and smacks of bad business practice. I don't think this is the case, but Abe's should sync up their systems so this doesn't happen again. This is the first time something like that has happened to me on an online order, and again, it casts doubt upon the integrity of Abe's. So get it fixed!
4. Sometimes, it is difficult to get ahold of someone, but when I did, I was able to get most information.
Hope this feedback helps. I am still willing to shop again based upon the quick shipping and stellar prices. Work on the other issues, though, especially #1-3 above.
