Ordered Online. Then recieved email indicating I needed to call them. Sales person was requesting my credit card code, though I had entered this over the internet. Then I was encouraged to buy an extended warranty - special discount, needed to buy it now, wasn't able to research the company providing the warranty. I ended up purchasing it. Hope it wasn't a mistake. Would have much preferred having time to review the information about the warranty ahead of time. Overall, service and speed of delivery was fine. Read more

My email address was entered with a typo in it when I placed the order. I noticed this immediately, and sent an email to Abes to correct this, so that I could receive confirmation of my order etc. My email was never answered, the correction was never made to my order, so I never got confirmation. I called Abes a few days later, when my online order status kept reading "Processed", and I spoke with Morris. He said the confirmation email was returned (this was expected since there was a typo in the address) and that phone calls were made to both of my contact numbers. One number is a professional physicians office with a full time receptionist, and call logging - No call from Abes ever came through that number. The second contact number was my business cell phone which also keeps track of all incoming calls, I never received a call, let alone a message from Abes. So, the correction email I sent, identified by my order number, was never hooked up wiht my order, and never replied to, and no follow-up calls were placed. Not very good customer service. I placed my order on the 8th of July; it is now th 15th, and there is still no tracking number available for my order online. Maybe you should raise your very low prices just a tad, and pay for a little better customer service. Read more

The price was great, I ordered the product on the 9th of July, as of today,July 16, the product still has not been shipped. Purchasing the product is very easy, getting the product is not so easy. I hope I get the product at least by the end of next week. Contacting customer service is another thing that takes a long time. Had I known that it was going to take this long to purchase, I would have shoped in my local area. When it comes to purchasing more equipment for the camera it will not be with Abe's of Maine.
