Best price, shipped out fairly quickly. One complaint. They set me an e-amil saying that they needed to talk to me about my order. Thinking there was somethign wrong, I called immediately. I got a sales pitch to buy some accessories. I did not like this at all. However, the price was $50 lower than anyone else, so I would use them again. Read more

Very pleased. I was told that the order would arrive on 4/25. Living in Hawaii I doubted that it would arrive as promised but at 5PM on 4/25 UPS was at my door with the camera--a very pleasant surprise.

The shopping experience was fine. But the battery won't charge and I tried to contact Abe's via email and have received no response. I also had another query that has not been answered. I contacted Sony and they have been far more prompt and helpful. I am very unhappy that I have to send back the battery back to Sony and wait for a replacement. I cannot use the camera until I can get another battery. My small town does not sell these batteries so I am extremely frustrated. I am also disappointed at the lack of response from Abes. Read more
It's no easy to reach somebody at the phone ! If you have some problems with one order, is better that you call the people instead of letting people wait without knowing the reason !!! I spent a long time not only researching which camera to buy, but where to buy it from. I was thoroughly exhausted trying to decide between buying from a big, trusted company (i.e., Best Buy, Circuit City...) or a discounted, online store. After reading endless reviews and consulting the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) I decided to go with Abe's. I was a little hesitant, because I'd read so much about buyers' experiences with high-pressure follow-up phone calls. When the phone rang a couple days after my order, I was expecting it. And you know what? It wasn't bad. I was just really honest with the guy- told him (okay, 2-3 times) that I couldn't afford any updgrades or accessories at the time, even if they DID offer me a one-time discount, and he told me the camera would be shipped the next applicable day. I received the item quickly, packaged and brand new. I'm really happy about my shopping experience. I went to Costco last night and saw the same camera for $45 more than I purchased it more. This was definitely the best price coming from a legitimate store. It seems like so often, the long reviews are the negative ones (which makes sense, b/c pissed off people want to rant- rightfully so). But I thought it'd be worth throwing my 2 cents (or more like a nickel) in. Read more
