I placed order over internet. The item I wanted to purchase was apparently out of stock. I was advised of this quickly Sep 20, the advice being that it would be ready for shipping in a month. Oct 15 I follwed up to find out status. Rcvd email from Tobias saying he would follow up and get back next day. Next day no reponse. Oct 27 I followed up again. Still no response. Nov 10 followed up yet again. Tobias responsed Nov 11 with short response not in stock will ship in 2- weeks. Nov 26 I followed up. Nov 27 Tobias responded item not in stock will ship in 2-3 weeks. By now have no faith in Tobias' word or understanding of notion of courtesy or service. Wrote to different person's email and Rachel Berko responded with very courteous email explaining supplier had not provided date. Rachel must have actually followed up because next day Dec 23 I received notice item had now been shipped. (more than 3 mths after placing order). Main issue is not theat there were delays. Issue is that there was a lack of courtesy in keeping me informed of the status of my order and no less than 4 broken promises. Ordering over the internet does not preclude basic courtesy. Note that I was appreciative of the way Rachel actually resolved the matter, however the overall experience was unacceptable.

I did have to call into Adorama customer service. the first lady I spoke with, Kim, was not helpful but I called back and spoke with Melisa and she was fantastic and helped me get my order on time before my trip! Thank you!

I have not received the items yet. However, the books are sceduled to ship in August because one of the books is not yet available. I would have hoped that the two books that are available would ship immediately.
