My latest experience with Adorama has not been a pleasant one.I have been charged twice for the same item and after several emails adorama wont aknowledge it.I have now taken it up with my credit card company
and after confirming the two charges from adorama , they have advised me to approach their dispute department. This is unfortunate.Apparently someone at Adorama feels that i am making it up and have plenty of time to write emails to them.I tried calling them ,however being a weekend i could not get a customer service representative.
I am a physician who works sixteen hour days and i hope that i am able to resolve the problem.

I order a Kenko Teleplus PRO 300 teleconverter lens for my Nikon D70 digital SLR camera from Adorama.com. The online ordering was simple, direct and well defined. Prompt shipment ... prompt arrival.

On 1st usage, I found the results were not what I expected. I went to dpreview.com/Nikon talk and learned that my main lens was not fast enough to handle the two f/stop loss the Kenko teleconverter added to my camera.

I contacted Adorama.com and was told I had two weeks to return the item for a full refund. I did so, and the refund was credited within a week. Great service at Adorama.com.

Having shopped Adorama on several occasions, I have never been unhappy. Any questions are answered promptly and the selections seem unlimited. I have looked at other sites but always come to Adorama for my purchases because their prices are usually better. They have quality merchandise and have never tried to mislead me. I am secure in my online purchases and never doubt my order will be exact. I never request expedited delivery since the order is filled in a timely manner and normal delivery gets to me in a reasonable time frame.

I was pleased with the order process online, but customer service is terrible. After I placed my order, I received a call from a person at Adorama who did not leave his name, but told me to call him back. When I called back, no one was able to help me unless I gave them the name of the person who called me. They acted like I was calling to bother them.

There have been several occasions when I could not find items in stock at other stores and have been pleasantly surprised to find them at Adorama. There service is speedy,quality excellent and I never hesitate to order from them.

My experience with Adorama has always met my expectations. My orders have always been promptly filled and I would recommend them to anyone who might ask me about ordering camera equipment online.

Fast shipping, good packing, although with those air cells which I personally do not like as much as the foam popcorn. This is one of the few ethical companies in the photographic equipment business. I have been doing business with them for thirty years, in person early on, and now on the Internet. Their web site is easy to use.

The site was excellent. They had a deep assortment of products and I found just what I needed.

They sent order and ship confirmation emails, including the UPS tracking number. Unfortunately the package was never delivered. Adorama has requested a trace and UPS is following up--I will update my comments when it is resolved.

I placed another order for the same items with Adorama, but noticed that in the two weeks since my first order, the price of an item was raised fifteen dollars. I called and asked them to honor the original price since I never received my order the first time. They agreed, which showed me they care about the customer.
