Adorama Online Store

Still waiting for an order placed on Apr 14 to be shipped. Order confirmation says they will notify you within 1 business day if there are problems, but they don't. When you ask, they will tell you the item will ship "next week" but it doesn't. I will be cancelling the order monday, and not ordering from Adorama again, use B&H instead!!!

The filter I received was the wrong size. I called Adorama and they immediately sent me the correct filter and allowed me to return the wrong one.

I have made several orders with Adorama over the past few years. My orders have included Digital SLR, Digital point and shoot, and underwater camera equipment. I have found Adorama reliable, cost competitive, quick to fill and deliver orders. When I have had questions on products, I have found their customer service on the phone to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have used their online print service and have been very pleased with the results. I have ordered several color enlargements, some as large as 20x14. The prints are stunning.

I have purchased several pieces of photo equipment from Adorama over the past 6 months and I have been completely satisfy. I live in Montreal Quebec and I usually receive my order within 3 or 4 days. I am very happy with Adorama's services and would recommend doing business with them without any hesitation.

Adorama has a great online store. It is very easy to navigate and Adorama has great prices. Delivery was very quick and shipping was reasonable. I will definitely order from Adorama again.

A great trustworthy merchant. Deep selection and excellent real prices. I can find stuff at Adorama that I can't find at local brick and mortar stores. On top of which I never feel gouged on those hard to find goods.

An example is my return to shooting slide film after a long break. It used to be that I could find Kodachrome at Price Club - aka Costco in bulk. As you might guess things have changed and slide film is very hard to source locally. I purchased Fuji Velvia 50 from Adorama at a very reasonable price.

They also have a long track record of being customer centric business. I never feel nervous shopping here. I can't say the same for many of the web based stores that promise prices that are too good to be true, while promising very little in the way of customer care.

Adorama is a big store that manages to provide the customer support of the old local stores that were run by the owner, who was passionate about his/her business. A rarity in this age of corporate conformity.

They have lacking customer service skills. The New York attitude prevails. But, if you can get over the abrupt tone and overall pushiness of the staff, then they are excellent in all other aspects. I feel the amount I spent($4100) may have something to do with how I was treated. I read many reviews and I noticed that they tend to mistreat lower spending customers worse. If you buy a filter or something they blow you off. This would make me wary of buying lower cost items from them. The pushed some extras, but I told them no once and they backed off.

The new stuff it great, but I would watch out for them overstating the quality of used items. Many people have had this problem.

i got what i ordered,what i paid for.truthfully i did not care for the attitude of the people that i talked to, they had a i know it all attitude. it was as if i was talking to ROCKY, the two men i talked too, were rude & they had no ideal how too answer my question. "hay yo" & "ya know what i mean". now this is not to say that south alabama does not have rude people. in fact we have a whole hell of alot! it is just when you are paying more than $50.00 for some one thing,you want the person who you are dealing with to have some type of understanding how to talk with the consumer.these guys blow at this. everything else was great!!!!

I've had excellent service from Adorama over the past 2 years. Deliveries have been immediate and there've been no problems at all with the products. Also, I returned one item for credit and Adorama handled this with no hassle at all (it was my error on the order).

Worst mail order experience EVER. After ADORAMA deducted $367 (Glidecam 4000) from my bank account on DEC 7th, they sent me another customers order instead. Refused to send MY order til they got their $60 backpack gear back. After I sent the order back they denied they received it even after UPS Tracking said they received it. ADORAMA Service Dept NEVER responded to any of my emails. After I phone cancelled my order the service dept said that it would take a week to process. It's been over a week and I'm still out $367! It's Dec 27th and ADORAMA still has my money. I've never had a bad mail order before ADORAMA. I will never trust them again and so you should beware of ADORAMA's business practices. I've NEVER had any problems with B&H. Lesson learned.

I had a horrible experience with Adorama. Placing the order was fine but unfortunately the item was on backorder. Then they had a problem verifying my credit card which took 4 days to correct because there hours worked horribly with my work schedule and 99% of the people who I talked to could not help me. Finally my camera was shipped but got lost. After calling Adorama they said it would be another 3-4 weeks before they would know if they could even locate my camera and after that they would have to wait for a refund check from the shipping company before they could issue me a refund. They said if I needed the camera right away I could buy another one and return the other one or whatever would happen. I'm not stupid enough to order another product from them. Their customer service department did not care about my situation considering this was a Christmas present. I am not happy with this company at all.

This store on line was the first time I spent any serious money on the Internet. Truth be told - I was worried.

However; from now on I will NEVER need to hesitate with this company. It was fast, painless, and a GREAT value!

I bought a $1,400.00 factory refurbished Canon lens from here and it looked like brand new and saved me $200.00 on the price of a new one!

Superb service and products. Fast shipping even over the holiday period. These arrived well packed and arrived here as fast as if they were sent from New Zealand.

Great prices and fast delivery. Shipping charge is a bit high (perhaps it was because my order's weight - the Canon PC160 Personal copier - shipping charge of $30). Even with the high shipping charge, the final price was a lot less than other online or retail stores. This is a great company. Be sure to check and include shipping charges to come up with the final cost before you place your order. I am really happy with my purchase.
