Adorama Online Store

I bought a tripod from adorama online. I received the tripod and the handles where missing, I called adorama customer service and they tried to tell me to call smith-Victor who makes the tripod. I said no and they started working with me. Adorama e-mailed me a ups shipping label and I sent the tripod back. Adorama sent me a second tripod, I received it and found that the threads on the tripod head where stripped. I took the tripod and head to the hardware store, there I found that the threads on the head did not match the threads on the tripod base. Seems like adorama stocks and sells defective products. Two bad tripods in a row I did not even call Adorama back and tell them about the problem. I could not wait another week and a half to send and recieve another tripod. I had already lost enough of may time. To solve the problem I went to the local camera store and bought a new tripod head and adapter to match the threads on the base of the tripod from Adorama.

Excellent shipping, I would definitely shop this store again!!! Item was received within two business days. They kept me well informed of where my product was...

I wanted to purchase a Canon EOS 5D digital SLR system, which meant CompactFlash, Speedlite 580EX flash (upgrade from old flash is necessary to take advantage of the new E-TTL II capabilities), wireless controller, and extra battery. Adorama was one of just two Internet sites that had all the items, was among the lowest in prices and has a high rating for customer service.

I ordered the system during Passover, which meant that the products were no sent to me until the period ended. This is acceptable to me -- it's nice to see a business honoring the religion of its owners.

The assembling of the order and shipping the items to me came a little over a day after they resumed business, which I consider to be remarkable fast since they had a week's backlog to process.

I commend Adorama for it's outstanding quality of service, fast delivery and (I forgot to mention) that everything arrived as I'd order it and in perfect condition.

I had been shopping around for a photo deshadow box for about 3 months. I ran across a magazine ad for a photography de-shadow box at Adorama. It seemed like a decent product at a fair price.I went online to research, and found that Adorama's price was at least 50% lower than everyone else's. I was skeptical, but I ordered it anyway, thinking that I could always return it. Being a cheapskate at heart, I opted for standard shipping, I received it 3 days later. After using the product --- I was wrong, it was a great product at an excellent price.  I received a follow-up email from Adorama a few days later, they wanted to know if I was satisfied with the product and their service. Would I order from Adorama again? In a heartbeat.

Adorama knows the meaning of customer service.  I ordered my camera on a Thursday thinking I'd have to wait forever to get it as most firms ship the following Monday.  I received my camera on Tuesday.
I have dealt with Adorama in the past and service like this along with consistently low prices keeps me coming back.  It's little wonder they have the excellent reputation they do.

I had a problem with my payment, my fault. I was emailed promptly and after a quick exchange of emails the problem was resolved. Despite ordering from UK, I was in possession of my Nikon scanner and using it 5 days after my first contact.
Very good, efficent and helpful service.
I ordered from the States because the scanner is no longer available in Europe. Its been worth doing even with the UK import duty. I'll be back again.

I am very pleased with the prices and quality of the equipemnts and overall the good customer service from Adorama, what makes me more and more adicted to them is that they have more items shipping for free these days. Which is Great.
There are different leveles and qualities both for an amateur or professiona photographer. The Adorama brand studio equipements I am buying are good quality reasonably priced items.

The on-line store presents a huge choice of well described items.
The 3 orders I placed were accurately and quickly processed and shipped (within 1 day).
As an overseas foreigner, for one order, I experienced an error in the custom category under which my lenses were declared. It took 7 days to clear the problem. I'm still fighting with UPS to get my custom papers.
The internal protection of the shipping package was ineffective, obviously UPS had let the package fall, the box containing the heaviest lens was damaged, the lens seems intact.
I tried to reach the customer service through the enquiry form, but I got no answer. The office hours are not convenient because of the time shift.
I added a comment to the next order, no answer again.

I have ordered two cameras from Adorama.  Both were very satisfactory.  The order process went perfectly and the cameras arrived very quickly and they were exactly what I was expecting.  I plan to shop with them every time I need anything they have available.

I got the best price at Adorama, and the service was excellent.  Communications were very good and my order arrived on time and correct. 

I ordered a camera lens from the web page. I received a quick response, the order was filled and shipped quickly. I was kept updated via email as to every step, and its progress. I would recommend Adorama to everyone.

By far the best site for photo related items. The layout and ease of use of the site is in a class by itself. Excellent communication via email and even a human salesperson (who actually knows what he is talking about) if you wish. Selection, price, service and more service.

IMHO Adorama is one of the top online sellers around. I have bought used lens, new lens, media, filters, software, and other items from them, as well as selling my older film camera to them and never had a problem.
