Music clubs, with their offers to get a whole bunch of CDs with little or no commitment to future purchases, often seem too good to be true. Like many of you out there, I have given into the temptation on more than one occasion, signing up for my...

Buy one CD, get 12 free and 500 MyPoints to boot!!!. Wow what a deal. Truth be told, I don’t remember the exact deal I signed up for at BMGmusicservice.com. I started with the buy one, get 12 free and somewhere along the line I think I bought another...

I am sorry I have to write this review. During the 2+ years I have written for epinions I have come across companies that behave unethically, companies that misrepresent what they sell or do and in the case of BMG a company that purposely misled me....

Pros: 12 CDs for price of one, responsive, yes responsive, customer service Cons: Shipping costs; somewhat awkward website
Music has always been a love of mine. Beautiful music can pick me up out of a poor mood, sooth me while driving in Los Angeles bumper to bumper traffic, and relax me after an insane day at work. I enjoy a wide variety of music from classical to folk,...

If you are like me then you long ago tired of the artificially high cost of music CD’s available at your local retailers like Target, Best Buy, Tower Records, Borders, Wal-Mart etc. But I love music of all genres, and I own hundreds of CD’s but ...

Pros: Pay for one CD get 12 free Cons: Make sure to tell them you don't want the featured selection
I know I am not the only one who remember's using Columbia House and BMG in the past. I never could remember to send those postcards back in when I didn't want the featured CD and I would always end up with it my mailbox and then have to send that back...

Music fans are always faced with dilemmas when it comes to choosing CDs. There are always more CDs I want than I can afford. Music clubs offer intriguing prospects like 12 CDs for the price of one. Or some similar offer. You just have to pay full...

I noticed that there are a lot of opinions here, and I haven't read them all, but I might as well share my experiences with BMG, in hopes they'll prove useful too. I joined BMG music service a little more than 4 years ago. I guess I should note ...

I decided to write this review after reading about the negative experiences with BMG that some other reviewers have had. I thought it might help to provide some information about what to expect from this and other CD clubs, as well as what to avoid and...

Years ago, if I saw an ad that told me that you get 12 cds for the price of 1, I would have thought that the advertiser was crazy. But what I found out was, it isn't so free once you decide to listen to the ad and join. BMG is a music store which ...

BMG Music is one of the best ways to purchase your music online if you are like me and live in a small town where the nearest music store is 20-30 miles away and don’t shop much. I’ve been a part of BMG off and on since 1993, from the moment I became a...

Pros: 12 CD's for the price of 1 Cons: Insane shipping, price gouge for that one CD, and terrible customer service
I have joined and quit BMG several times through out my life. And as such I have gained quite a musical collection. Here is the run down:
1) You go to their site, which is clunky, awkward and slow.
2) You pick between 3 and 7 cd's which...

I've been a member since 1999. Originally I had the same hesitations about joining as some of the other reviewers: suspicions about poor service and getting stuck with a commitment to buy high-priced items after an initial, too-good-to-be-true offer. I...

I have been a member of BMG for more than 7 years now, and I still find this club to be an excellent way for me to get the music I want at the price I like. In all the years I have been a member I have only bought about five cds at full price, which ...

While you are able to get a good price on CD's there are a few things I would like to note form my own recent experience. There are restrictions on the free CD's that you can receive. I wanted to get some newly released CD's, but those were only able ...
