Pros: Great deals on cd's, easy to use site, lots of selections! Cons: None that I have found after using this service for 3 years.
I have been using BMG music service for several years. I started long before they had a web site.
The addition of the web site has made this a much better, customer friendly place to purchase your music.
Since the web site there is no longer a...

Pros: 12 CD's for the price of 1; thousands of CD's to choose from Cons: featured selections they will constantly send you
If you're a cheap bastard like I am, chances are you've heard of, considered joining, and/or already have joined BMG music service at least once. And chances are if you tried it, you eventually got frustrated, and quit. You probably also came...

Their customer service needs to get their act together. I've had two issues with my account thus far. The first issue came when I attempted to fufill my "agreement" by purchasing a CD at full price. There's a code you must enter to do this. Well, I tried ...

Pros: Inexpensive and Convenient. Cons: Having to remember to log on and cancel monthly selection.
I have used both BMG Music and Columbia House in the Past. However, I always ended up with a bill b/c I would forget about the monthly selection.
However, even then I preferred BMG over Columbia House. They seem to have a larger variety of...

Pros: Cheaper than buying at store. Cons: Quality(?) and not much new selections.
There were two services I knew of: Columbia and BMG. After calculating I opted for BMG for the price.
I ordered online. Got the first CD pretty well within a couple of weeks. Decided to buy a Feature Selection as the one CD I needed to buy and...

Worst customer service experience of the decade -- worse than the cable company, so it's BAD. Slow shipping time on all orders, but first order extremely slow -- it got lost in the mail -- not their fault but they wouldn't replace the CD in a timely ...

Pros: 12 CD's for the price of one. Decent selection. Cons: Don't keep track of what they tell their customers and they blame them for it.
I started using BMG.com in 1999 and was a very good customer. I always remembered to make sure I wanted the featured selection and canceled it before it was sent so there was no problems there. However, I used the store to purchase some Christmas gifts...

I've been a member of BMG's music club since 99, and still love it. Occasionally they send me the stupid featured selection thing and i have to return it, and the junk mail is a bit annoying, however if you take them seriously it is a very good deal....
