Baby Age is a TERRIBLE company

My experience with them was terrible. I ordered my sister a stroller for her baby shower on July 18th they took my money July 20th. I never received an email from them so I went on their site and checked my order. It was there and they had taken my money. So I waited for them to send it. I finally emailed them 8 days later because i hadn't received any email from them about my order- not even a receipt. They said they would respond the within 24 hours of receiving the email - I gave them 48. finally I called customer service they put me on hold for 10 min while trying to figure out my order and finally told me they didn't even have the stroller and that they were going to take it off the website right then. The only good thing was that they returned my money right away.

Great experience! I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but decided to order anyway and I am glad I did. My order arrived within 3 days! I can't speak for anyone else, but I had a very good experience.

Lack of organization and performance

We ordered a car seat which their website showed as being in stock but would not ship for 3-5 days. After 1 week I called to check since I had not received a ship confirmation. They said that that item was actual out of stock and they estimated that it would not be available for 2+ weeks, but that they had the same seat with a different cover in stock and could ship it the next day. I choose to go this route, the next day near the end of business I still had not received a ship confirmation so again I called and was told that the item had not shipped and was out of stock. At this point I canceled my order, but am now struggling to get my money refunded. There customer service has been very friendly but Babyage has not been able to perform!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I ordered a glider on 5/22 that said would ship in 3-5 days. Credit card was charged the next day. When I checked my order status it said In Process. Finally called on 5/28 and they had no info. Called back 5/30 they said I would hear back 24-48 hrs. Nothing... Called to cancel on 6/3 and was told it would take 1-3 days for them to communicate the cancel and chances are good that I will still receive anyway. Called today 6/4 to see if response from original inquiry was in and I was told when I put it the cancel request it canceled the inquiry so I still do not know if has shipped. It is now 13 days from my order, 12 days from my card being charged and I still know NOTHING about the status. I am off to the store now to buy another Glider and praying to god that I don't end up with 2.

I am so disapointment with my order. That I would never buy from this store again. I ordered March the 23th got one piece at a time. Then when I thought I was going to get the rest of my order. NO May the 14th and still waiting on 2 pieces of my order. Hasnt even been shipped yet. The only thing good is that it was a good price. I ordered this for my grand daughter and she will be here before I can finish her room. I have called them several times and the first one told me it would be mailed out the 4th of May. If you dont have 3 months to wait dont order here, Good price dosent mean anything when you cant finish a room for your baby.

BUYER BEWARE! I bought a car seat from BabyAge. Unfortunately it did not fit properly in my car. BabyAge refused to return my money because the "box had been opened"! I obviously could not have known it wouldn't fit until I opened the box! I have read other similar complaints from this vendor. Now I'm out $180. Simply not worth the risk.

Terrible... and I mean TERRIBLE customer service. I placed an order online. The email confirmation indicated 4-6 week delivery time (too long). I emailed them immediately requesting a cancellation (it was after hours) and phoned the following day to cancel. The rep told me that they order was canceled. After canceling, I ordered the item elsewhere. In spite of the cancellation, they shipped the item anyway. In subsequent exchanges with customer service, they've failed to deliver on any promises and are refusing any responsibility for the failure to cancel the order. They keep telling me that this is "buyer's remorse" and that I'm the one responsible for return shipping.

I really should have known better than to order from babyage.com. I originally ordered a comforter for my daughter for Christmas. I ordered it on December 11, 2007. The website says 7-10 day shipping. I did not receive the comforter until after January 1, 2008.

On January 11, 2008 I ordered another item to go with the comforter. February 13 comes and still no item. So, I decided to call babyage.com customer service. They tell me my item will ship on February 15. I sent them an email on February 18 asking if my item had been shipped yet and if so, could I have the tracking info. No reply. I received an email from them on February 19 saying it had shipped that day. Basically, their CS lied to me.

Nowhere did it say the item was backordered or that it would take more than the 7-10 days for shipping. I have now sent them 2 emails with no response! I WILL NEVER purchase from babyage again!

Terrible Company To Deal With

This company is absolutely horrible. I ordered a glider from them on December 7, 2007. I was told that the glider would arrive to me that next week as it was in the warehouse. I received it on December 24th, 2007 just in time for X-mas. Still a little unhappy about it being 2 weeks late. I open it to find the chair damaged. I call on Dec. 26th to get a replacement and finally got them to process it on Dec. 31, 2007. Called back in a week to check progress, nothing was done even though I was told it was processed on the 31st of December. So I had them reprocess it. Called back a week later still hasen't been processed. So I asked just to get my money refunded. Ever since then I have been calling every day and it is now 2 weeks later and still don't even have an answer of when they are going to reprocess my order to give me my money back. I am in the process now of contacting a supervisor. I am so upset with there service that I would love to fire all their reps right now.

I purchased the Cosco Summit High Back Booster toddler car seat from Baby Age, but when it arrived, the shipping box and owner's manual stated a height requirement (32.5 inches) that had not been mentioned on its website. Since the seat didn't fit my child, I called and emailed Baby Age many times over a several week period. They never answered their telephones, returned my voicemail or replied by email. They require pre-authorization to return a product, so I have been unable to return the seat.

Now a month later, they still have not contacted me with an authorization or a reason for no authorization. I've had to take the issue up with my credit card company and the car seat is taking up space in my child's bedroom. I'll never try to save $10 by shopping online from some random vendor that's a little cheaper than Amazon or other reputable companies.

Although I paid for the entire order, only a portion of my order was received. I called and they said it was in on backorder; then I called a month later and they said it would be arriving to their location soon for shipping; then I called again once I didn't receive it and they said that had it and it would ship out. Four months from the time I placed the order, I haven't received a portion of it. They do answer their phones anymore and I have left numerous e-mails and voice mails but no body responds. I am not working with my credit card company to have a portion of the charge refunded.

Babyage.com is the worst internet store I have ever dealt with. I ordered a portable crib because they had the best price. The crib arrived damaged. I spent 2 weeks calling and emailing BabyAge to try get a replacement piece. They never answered the phone so I left 4 messages and sent 3 emails and no one ever contacted me. I finally got through to someone on the phone and they said they would send out a new part and send me an emailing comfirming everything. It has been a week and I have not received either. I am now on hold with them again and someone keeps answering the call without speaking and putting me on hold and then finally hung up on me. When I finally get this issue resolved, I will never use them again. It's not worth it to save a few dollars!

So far not a good experience..I ordered aquarium high chair 12/18/07. I later got email that I needed to call asap. I have tried for hours to get someone...but just to be kept on hold and then eventually had opportunity to leave message....no return call yet. DO NOT USE BABYAGE. The day after Thanksgiving, I ordered a toy for my daughter. The toy was available on other websites at that time, but I decided to order from babyage. I received a confirmation email that they received my order and did not hear anything from them again. After 1 1/2 weeks, I called the help phone number and was told that they would be shipping the order to me that night. The toy was still available on other websites, but since Customer Service told me that they were shipping that night, I did not order the product elsewhere. Last week, I tried to call customer service to check on my order, but I waited 1/2 hour to talk to a representative but had to get back to work so I hung up. By that time, the toy was unavailable elsewhere. I tried to call again yesterday, similar wait time. Today I received an email from babyage that they had cancelled my order (five days before Christmas). The toy is no longer available elsewhere. THEY ARE UNABLE TO FULFILL YOUR ORDER AND WILL RUIN YOUR DAUGHTER'S CHRISTMAS TOO. DO NOT USE THEM.

The web-store is wonderful, but due to my first experience notr being a good one, I now hesitate to try it again. The order I placed consisted of a very large box - it arrived completely smashed on one side and one end of the box unglued and opened. Fortunately, upon further inspection, the contents appeared to be okay; however, having to present a beat-up box at a baby shower (it couldn't be wrapped in its damaged state) was very embarrassing. I dread the same thing may happen with future shipments, so I rather not risk it. If I were you, I'd make your shipper responsible for not delivering merchandise that has been damaged in transit. I would have rather not have the delivery made on time and have had you e-mail me the cause for the delay - shipment damaged, new one on its way. Putting the burden on the customer for a shipment delivered in inadequate condition is not fair. ANyway, that is my suggestion. If you ever change your policy to this effect, I would be happy to keep ordering merchandise from you - I have 7 grandkids :-) Thank you.

Baby Age has very poor quality products and they are not willing to accept that the picture and the item shipped doesn't match. The item I received is in very poor condition and Baby Age doesn't do full refunds. They also don't credit back the money and only does store credit. Very bad customer service and the manager literally used wrong words in the conversation. Will never buy anything from Baby Age nor recommend anyone I know of to buy from there. Very bad production shipped and poor quality.

They required a phone call to complete my purchase. They told me they needed part of my social security number since the shipping address was different. I did not feel comfortable giving out this info. My cc company has my second registered address which they would have been happy to verify. They also informed me I did the right thing in not releasing my SS number. Unfortunately, you lost a $500. purchase.

The car seat has not been shipped yet despite reassurances from Babyage that it was going to ship on 1 March. This would not be an issue if I did not need the seat, but I bought it to use it, not to be charged against my card and sit in their warehouse.

I found BabyAge to have excellent service. I did not receive a confirmation of shipping. An email was answered within 24 hrs.with an apology. I received the merchandise the same day. Tracking was convenient and the merchandise was in perfect condition. I would recommend this company.
