Barnes & Noble.com

Barnes and Noble is sometimes cheaper than Amazon.com and I use it as a strong second choice. Shipping cost and speed is on par with Amazon. Orders are accurate and the books are delivered new, clean and in good packaging. The website is a little more difficult to use than Amazon's, slightly, but the $2-5 cost savings more than makes up for it.

They Were Quick and promt with the delivery and i knew where my package was the entire time. If I had any questions I could have called but there was no need for that.

My experience has been a nice one with Barnes and Noble.com. My order was easily placed, quickly shipped and invoiced clearly and accurately.

I have never had a problem with Barnes and Noble.com in the past. I have however, this time. I have been waiting for several days (3 past the date set) for a package. I have tried tracking it using their tracking service, but to no avail. It will not work no matter what angle I try. I am very frustrated to have such bad service with a company I have grown to trust.

I love buying my books online with Barnes & Noble. It is less expensive than going to the store. Everything I have ordered has arived in record time. I have ordered on line with them many times and always get what I want. It couldnt be any easier.

This is a place I can usually find what I'm looking for. Not to mention the feature that reminds you of your recently viewed products. There is no shortage of choice virtually in every category.

AVOID BARNES & NOBLE. They should be reported for giving false information. When I ordered a calendar and book on Dec 18th, the website stated that it would ship out within 24 hours, in time for Christmas delivery. After I ordered, they told me that these were items that went out 2 or 3 days later. THAT IS NOT WHAT WAS STATED ON THEIR WEBSITE WHEN I ORDERED THESE ITEMS!!!! It said within 24 hours!! Both items qualified for fast free delivery. What a JOKE !! They did not send them out until Dec 21st. I received the calendar on December 27th in a box big enough to hold 10 books. The book I ordered was shipped separately in a different box but I still have not received it. So much for fast free delivery. I will make certain that Barnes and Noble gets free advertising from me (false info when ordering!)

i really like this store, because i can find any book i want, and i an sit there and read it, before i have to buy it, to make sure i even like what i'm about to buy. i've never been to the website, but i heard its very usefull.

I ordered a hardcover book and received it damaged. The sleeve was ripped and the edges were flattened from being banged around. I returned the book not online but at a B&N store. Re-ordered the same book plus a DVD (I had a gift certificate) thinking it was a fluke and the next package would be fine. Received the package with even more damage, the hardcover book had a rip on the sleeve that progressed onto the cardboard cover. It's a pretty thick cover, it must take a lot to rip it! The book also was stained in one corner that looked like mold. The DVD was fine, was dusty but the DVD worked and I was able to dust it off. Will never order from this online store again!

When shopped at the Barnes & Noble. com online store I really didn't come across any problems. The delivery speed was very much on time. I found everything I needed.

This is the absolute worse web site I have ever experienced! I bought a text book, It took 9 days to process the order. They sent and email saying it was shipped but USPS picked it up 3 days later and I still have to wait 5-8 business days. Tracking is impossible, they don't give you an estimated delivery date. Classes have started and I still don't have my book and I don't know when I will get it. I had better luck dealing with normal people selling books on Half.com. I will never use them again and will not shop there anymore. Go Borders!

Ordering from Barnes&Noble.com has always been a good experience for me, which is why I continue to shop there. Not only is the site easy to navigate but they have an incredible array of books and other things to buy. Plus, they ship almost immediately and I never worry whether or not I will receive my products. For anyone who likes the convenience of shopping online, this is definitely a great place to go.

I've always been very pleased with Barnes & Noble.com's Online store, they've gotten my orders to me very quickly and accurately. I'd recommend anyone to it.

I bought books, and I got them on time and at great prices. Also, I took some free courses at their on-line university. It's really cool!

Attention, STUDENTS! I've always used Amazon.com to get my textbooks and never had a slightest problem. This time, as I was given a gift card, I decided to go with B&N. Big mistake. I placed my original order on February 28. It promised within 24 hours to ship out- it turned out to be 3 days. Then UPS misplaced the package and now it's lost. B&N is taking 8 business days (in my case 12 days with two weekends) to track it down, and in the meanwhile, B&N will not ship out a replacement order. I was told if the package doesn't turn out after that period of time, I MAY receive a credit back, but if the package is found, B&N will not give me a refund. A new session is starting at my school next week, and I don't even have the books. Other retail services would immediately replace your order upon notification, and then worry about the lost items (happened to me a couple of times in the past)- not so with Barnes & Noble, folks. Today is March 16. I placed an order of the same books with my trusted Amazon.com last night.
