Bass Pro Shops online was wonderful. I found all the products I was looking for very easily. I put in for a certain delivery type, and on the day the receipt said that my products would be here, they were here. Customer service is great. I had a question about a dog collar I bought, and they answered it very quickly and informatively. This is the best outdoor store in the world!

I order from Bass Pro shops several times a year. Their merchandise is great, their shipping is fast and accurate, and I have never had a problem with returns. The pricing is standard, although you may be able to beat their price on some items with careful (and tedious) shopping. I buy a lot of fishing, hunting, and boating gear. Their clothing is true to size, and is just as you see it. I highly recommend this store for the sporting enthusiast.
I had a good experience. The order was delivered quickly and safely. Shipping was low too, not like other sites that nail you with shipping costs to make up for a low priced item. I would buy from them again.

The most amazing outdoors sport store, I have visited the Katy store very frequently and the Chicago north.
The store is very well designed, has almost everything a fisherman needs and the service and attention of the employees is remarkable.
Great merchendise and very very poor customer service....as I was buying in that store for many years it was ok...then I moved overseas...shipping charges were 40% of total price and other option 20 % was for me just not an option...why...becase they charged whatever they wanted...they have never complied with any messages which I left on purchase order, neither they took in consideration special instruction via chat service numerous times disregarding me like I don't exist...finally they just stole all the reward points off account...they didn't know how to damage me further...honestly...I don't have a guts or nerves to deal with people like that....
They have a method by which they calculate what kind of delivery they call "standard" in each particular case. My first order with Bass Pro Online included a few very small and light items, and the delivery charge they applied could cover Priority Mail twice. Despite that they sent the item by snail mail. It's been 10 days already, but the package didn't arrive yet. In addition to that, their choice of a carrier, USPS, doesn't even allow to track packages: you have a tracking number, but zero info about whereabouts of the package.
"You have to wait longer"- was all two different customer service reps told me. Apparently, delivering packages state-to-state takes longer than shipping them to Australia.:(
When I tried to tell them that they should review the shipping policy since waiting for two weeks is unacceptable (leave alone their choice of the least reliable and uncontrollable carrier), they said they had nobody to convey this feedback to.
Naturally, this was my first and the last attempt to buy anything from Bass Pro Online. Cabela's may be just a little more expensive, but they are fast and responsive to the customers needs.
I ordered a GPS/Sonar combo on June 23rd, as of today June 29 they still don't know if it's shipped or still sitting in warehouse!! My credit card was charged on Monday 25th for the order. They have offered to refund the shipping charges,and upgrade shipping to 2-day, but I was expecting delivery by July 4th. Second level customer service couldn't tell me at 4:30 cst today if it had shipped or gotten upgraded to 2-day... :( :( :(
Seems like they need to do better job with shipping and warehouse information. All I was told was that the warehouse was running behind.
This gives Cabela's a good foot in the door now will order from them next time.
Can't comment on order accuracy or delivery speed as I STILL don't have the order.

I will NEVER shop Bass Pro again. I live just outside Springfield Missouri and have bought almost all my outdoor items at Bass Pro. This week on the local news Bass Pro is trying to take down a small town store because the name is Buzz's Outdoor World. They say they have a copyright on the words Outdoor World. What a joke ! ! I will drive out of my way to shop any other store I can find.
Horrible, ordered a penn reel and it was used and the box was all busted up. Took 2 weeks to ship and they overcharged me 20 dollars for shipping. WILL NOT EVER USE THEM AGAIN, just another corporation company that don't give a crap about their customers.
