Over the last year, I have made three purchases from Bose.com and their website continues to impress me. It is easy to maneuver through their products and they have extensive information available on their products (including the owners manuals for each product which is often helpful in decision-making or compatibility verification). One of my purchases used their easy-pay plan where monthly installments were charged over 12 months to my credit card. The billing was always accurate and when the unit was paid in full, the charges stopped as scheduled. They no longer offer this program, but now have a Bose credit card. I applied my most recent purchase to this program and the 0% interest for 12 months is nice. The "apply" link opens a second secure window where a standard credit application is completed, and when you are finished and approved, you are returned to the Bose shopping cart to complete your order. In all three of my orders, the unit arrived very quickly and on-time based on their committed schedules. Bose.com is an excellent way to buy a Bose.

I placed an order online at www.bose.com for a 321 about 1 month ago. The process was quick and easy. We received an email confirming that our order was received and when the product was shipped. Even though they said the product would arrive within 5-7 days, we received it in 3!
We were very excited. After we received the product, they followed-up with us to find out if we had any trouble setting-up the product.
Even though they had already collected my money, they continued to provide my wife and I with full service. We both very much appreciate their old fashioned customer service.

Absolutely abysmal service - the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. I ordered a Sounddock on the 2nd Feb 2005 and was promised 3 week lead time. After four weeks I rang to see where it was and was told it had been delivered a week previously. After a LOT of ringing around they finally admitted they had not delivered it to me but had delivered it to a nearby store - they suggested I went round to pick it up.The store insisted it was theirs - Bose insisted it was mine. Another week passed and Bose promised to send one out priority the next day. I rang the next day to be told it would actually be two working days. I rang two days later to be told that it would actually be shipped the following week. It is now 18/3/2005 and I am still waiting..... No one rings me up to inform me of progress, I'm promised supervisor calls but they never come.

I have been a Bose customer for some time and purchased several Bose products to include the Lifestyle 25 and Wave radio systems. I asked Bose about the prospect of a wireless capability since I wanted to connect multiple Bose systems or speakers around my home without running wires. Their response was very condescending and indicated that wireless products were not good enough and that Bose had no intention of supporting a wireless capability. Well now Bose sells the iLink which is a wireless sender and receiver. The problem is that the iLink apparently only supports newer Bose systems and not the systems I have. I find that very disappointing. I know many, many customers who are in the same situation as I am. We invested in Bose systems and now we are at a capability/expansion dead-end.
Does Bose want to support it's past customers and products?
Unfortunately, it appears that Bose does not care. Plain and simple. No support for existing customers, lack of disregard for potential customers (read numerous complaints regarding lack of shipment to military personnel overseas), and lack of concern for future customers.

My experience with Bose On-line has been nothing less than AWESOME!! First I needed to replace 4 10" drivers for my old Bose 501 speakers, was able to get the parts I needed, and they were on my door step within a week of purchase, my Bose 501's sound like new again. Next I wanted to add Bose 301 series V speakers to my home sound system to complement my 501's. Thanks to the 12 months without interest purchase program I was able to pick up 3 sets of these speakers (which sound superb!!). I also ordered a new center speaker VCS-10 (which added a perfect balance to my now complete Bose speaker system). I received both the 301s and VCS-10 within a week of purchase. On-line tracking was easy to use and accurate. I am very impressed Bose On-line, not only do they make a fine product but even during the Christmas rush, shipping was super fast!!
Will do business with again!! 11 on a scale of 1 to 10!
WON'T SERVICE MILITARY PERSONNEL STATIONED OVERSEAS OR ON SHIPS! SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT THEY WON'T MAIL TO AN FPO ADDRESS WHEN ALL IT TAKES IS TO MAIL UTILIZING USPS. SHAME ON THEM!

I had never ordered anything online and was very leary about doing so. My husband wanted the headphones and since we don't have a local Bose store, I had no choice but to do it online. I found the experience very rewarding and to see the look on his face Christmas morning was priceless. I really enjoyed the experience and the quality of the product was amazing. I purchased this product with a 2 day shipping. The item was purchased on Dec. 16 but didn't even ship until Dec 20th. I got this item on the 22nd. This was a Christmas present and we were stressing and worried about what we would do. I don't plan to purchase from you again. Read more

We like the CD/radio. The sound is great. We purchased it over the internet. We have not received the surge protector
however, in checking the website I found that it is being shipper separately and should arrive in Sept 24.

Was pretty easy and items was delivered quickly. I was concerned about the packaging since it advertised what the item was but I did not want to pay extra to have it wrapped in brown paper. As this item was left on my front step, I would have been very concerned if someone saw what the package was and had taken it. Read more

Although the product was advertised as "simple to install," it was actually rather complicated. However, I soon received an unsolicited phone call from Bose tech support to be sure that I was able to install the system and all features. When I explained the problems, the tech person stayed with me on the phone until the entire system and all features were hooked up and working corrrectly and slowly walked me through use of the remote features as well. I then received a second call a few days later to be sure everything was still working well. Read more
