THE WORST. I ordered a pair of Gauntlet Gloves from them. Their website said it will ship in 4-7 days. 2 weeks later I received an email the it will be shipped. It never arrived. It has been 1 month and I call 2 times a day. I only got to speak to a human once. She said that UPS will call me ASAP. They never called and she never called them. I found out from UPS, whom told me that they had never heard from them. My questions are, where are my gloves or where is my $32.00???! They are the WORST EVER!!!

I placed an order with Botach for a Pelican Rifle case. At first, I was unable to get ahold of a live operator, so I ordered online with a credit card, 2 weeks later my case finally showed up and it was the wrong case.

6 hours and maybe 20 calls later I finally was able to get ahold of a live operator who passed me over to another operator who passed me over to another operator.

Customer Service is virtually non-existent at Botach. I would save my $$$ and buy from a company who doesn't see it's customers as an inconvenience.

Two weeks ago I ordered a flashlight for my detective agency from Botach and some additional equipment from another LA police gear company. Both orders were placed on the same day and both were delivered the same day by the same ups truck. I have no complaints.

I ordered two pair of 5.11 tactical pants and two hats from Botach Tactical on Jan. 19th 2006. It is now mid March and I havn't seen them. They have answered only two or three out of 25 e-mails. They answered these with childish one word replies like "ok". Nobody will answer their phone. I don't think it has shipped. What ever became of order 317997 Botach? Do you know?

I have now placed 2 orders with this company over the course of 1 1/2 years, and had the same result both times. After waiting over a week for a confirmation e-mail (as promised on their site), I finally called their customer service number - long distance, no less - and was informed that the item I ordered was not in stock, even though I ordered it immediately upon receipt of their e-mail offer. I advised the CS rep that this constituted deceptive advertising, and she apologized very nicely, but offered no solution.

I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was redirected to voice mail. I frankly doubt that I'll hear back from them.

The CS rep promised that my credit card had not been charged. I will verify with the bank, and if it has, indeed been charged, I intend to press interstate fraud charges - a federal crime.

I just ordered an EoTech 512 Holographic sight, UTG Quad Rails and Tactical Light Package #2 for my AR15 and also an Insight Procyon light for my Glock.  After ordering from Botach I read all the negative reviews.  I couldn't disagree more!!  I ordered all of those items (for a steal I must say) on Saturday and they shipped on Monday (UPS tracking provided).  I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Botach to anyone that asked me about them.  I got around $1000 worth of gear for only $619!!!!!  Botach is alright in my book!!!!  You can't beat their prices and as far as the negative customer service experiences written all over the web... I experienced none of that.  I believe Botach is under fairly new management and that may have something to do with it.  Give them a chance, they will make you happy!!!!

Please listen to everyone else here and avoid them like the plague. If you call their tech support, you get dropped into voicemail and they NEVER call you back. Sometimes if you call the government line you get through. When you talk to someone and they promise to call you back, they NEVER do (this happened 3 times). Always get the name of the person you talk to. I ordered on a Wed., then checked back Monday and the person assured me they had shipped my order (she even went to the shipping office to check). I called back Tuesday to get a tracking number, and some of the items aren't in stock. The next Thursday (9 days later) they had the manufacturer drop ship (but wouldn't expedite the shipping). Needless to say the order didn't get here in time (I ordered on a Wed because I needed it the following Saturday - 11 days later).

I placed an order using a 7% off coupon they sent me to MY email.  After 2 weeks of waiting i called them and was told that my order was cancelled even though thet sent me a confirmation.  Thanks botach, i needed this part by a deadline, thanks for telling me. They couldnt explain why they sent me a coupon in the first place, i even replied to it to show them.  BAD customer service.   I reordered from midway and they shipped it 2 day for me. NEVER use botach, they do not care for thier customers and the reps are terrible.

I guess I was one of the lucky shopper. I lives in Las Vegas so order from L.A. is prefered.  On line search found their price is great so I ordered 3 HK SA80 mags on Sun night and received then on Tue. Very pleased.  Than I ordered 2 mp5 German Mags ( Very good price) and received them in 2 days later. The third time I ordered some gun cleaning solutions on July 09, but did not get the item after 4 days. They send me e-mail stated the items were in back order. So I e-mail back to cancel my order. I got my refund after about 8 days. I am not sure if I will order from them again since I have seen so many negative feedback.  Any way, my personal  experience with Botach is not so bad.

The most horrible shopping experience ever! They sent me a wrong item and after four weeks of trying to get it replaced with the right one and numerous calls in that were never returned, some rude woman finally called me and basically said that it would take “who knows how long” before they can send me the right item. Ordered without checking online first. BIG MISTAKE! Contacted customer service after 1 week as order was showing as 'not shipped'. Was told orders usually ship in 3-5 days and to be patient. Went away for business for a week and returned to find (10 business days now) order still not shipped. No resposnes to email or phone. I'm going back to Gall's...at least they are honest.

I'm also going to simply dispute the credit card bill when it comes, I've found that when you deal with a-holes like Botach that's all they understand.

I had two "free shipping" coupons for Botach Tactical. I ordered about $150 worth of shoes on their website and applied the first coupon. I received a confirmation email showing the coupon had been accepted and applied to the order. The next morning I received an email stating that the coupon was invalid and to reorder with a valid coupon. I reordered and applied the 2nd coupon again for free shipping. I received the same email stating that my order had been cancelled due to an invalid coupon. This site isn't worth anyone's time if it accepts and applies VALID coupons and some flunkie behind a computer on their end can arbitrarily cancel your order stating the coupon is invalid because they don't want to pay for shipping the items purchased. What a waste of time!

Wow! I am surprised there are so many negative reviews I registered online they sent me an email that day to ask for department info. rank ect. and I replied the morning of the 22nd at 9:05 am PDT got a email saying I have been registered to there Kleyzion web site at 9:12 PDT the same day. I think they have partnered up with Kleyzion or maybe thats just there Govt. sales site I am not sure. Any ways I bought my item at 9:30 shipped it UPS 2nd day air for 16 bucks which is pretty good for CA to IN. The only problem I had was the tracking number they emailed me was not correct which I think was a clerical error I called on the 23rd to ask and they were closed for a holiday so I sent an email and had to wait until today to see if it was going to arrive. I received it today and am totally satisfied.

Without doing research on Botach, I made a purchase from them, and after not immediately receiving my confirmation e-mail, I found this site. After reading all the reviews I was pretty close to just canceling my order on the spot, but I held out hope that they'd get it right.

After a bit of sweating, I got my package right on time, with exactly what I ordered.

I'll be buying from them again, though cautiously.

The most horrible experience I have had to deal with online. Save yourself the grief. Don't be fooled by the sales. You will regret all the calls you will have to make to your credit card company. Read the reviews on any of the tactical boards or any store review website. Don't be tempted like I was. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a seller. They advertise low prices, have little in stock, will not return your calls or e-mails, but will gladly take your money.

UPDATE: after a phone call and several emails, my refund has finally been processed six weeks later. it was $130, not $180 as i originally posted. anyway, better late than never, but it really should not have taken so long or so much of my time to complete.

ORIGINAL: Ordered several items. As mentioned before, a few were apparently out of stock and nobody at Botach ever told me that. In fact, I had to email them and wait a week for a reply to learn that I would never be receiving them (but at least I had not been charged). However, one item ($180 binoculars) was out of stock, my credit card HAS BEEN CHARGED, I will never be receiving them and after over two weeks of waiting subsequent to being notified that my credit card will be refunded, it HAS NOT, and I am receiving no response about it further from Botach. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE, AS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED. i plan on involving a third party (hell, i can afford a lawyer even if it costs me a fair amount of money, just to see some justice done).

All around bad experience and the (not so) funny thing is the customer service department could care less!
Bait and switch tactics with a product on their website.  Item ordered wasn't item shipped.  Instead of making things right, or even apologizing for their mistake, they refused to do anything at all.

We placed an order for gloves over 2 months ago, we still have not recieved them! Online ordering was very easy, confirmation came right through, everything in stock. Right? Wrong. After getting no tracking information or returned phone calls, after the second day awaiting 2 day shipping, I continued to call and finally got a customer rep(Lisa) that could actually serve customers. I was told instead of the order going out as promised, one of my items wasn't even in stock. She upgraded to a better item for a good price, shipped out as promised, and I did in fact receive it in 2 days. Miraculous! I like their prices and vast selection, but will not order again without first talking personally to Lisa. Otherwise,NO WAY!!

If you are a real cheapskate and you don't care if something is placed on backorder forever, then go for it. I won't deny that they have some very competitive prices when things go on sale. Botach Tactical does not understand the meaning of customer service and needs to take some lessons from APPLE. On more than one occasion, they have mis-packed my orders, sending me the incorrect items and it is extremely difficult to get in touch with someone to take care of you after the sale. The organization is very disorganized and not well managed. They hire workers who are not knowledgeable about their products. In short, this is the last time that I will order from Botach and will instead pay more to another vendor to get the customer support that we all deserve.

Placed an order over 850$ 11 days ago. After a week of no package being at my door i started to call them. It took me lot of time and nerves to rich them via e-mail,online chat and luckily i got them on phone. I had been shocked by the customer service that i had been experiencing. They told me that they are out of stock, i asked why no one notified me- she replied " do you want to cancel your order or it would be in stock in about 7-10 days" even without any apology or any excuse !!!

This company is a complete and utter joke.  I should have heeded the warnings, but as I wanted low cost items, thought I'd do my own test.

Sure enough,things seemed good - my order was acknowledged immediately; day after, received shipping info from UPS.  However, it was too good to be true...a few days later, the UPS tracking number still showed the items had not been picked up.  This was because they was not in stock, I later found out.

Have currently asked for a refund (they charge your card immediately)...I'll give them a week - should no refund appear, I'll just go ahead and dispute the charge with the credit card company.  The more people that do that the better to be honest; in this day and age of live stock tracking and shipment tracking, they don't deserve to remain in business.

I read a lot of negative reviews about this store but decided to give it a try because they have some unique items. I ordered a Blackwater knife from BotachTactical.com (Botach) a couple months ago. I also added a couple of low-priced items to my order because those additional items do not increase shipping cost too much. Several days later Botach sent me an email which says that all items were shipped. But it seemed that they did not charge me for the knife. Immediately I know some thing was wrong. A few days later when I got the package the knife was not there.

Botach left out the most important item without letting me know. Otherwise I would have cancelled the entire order because I wouldn’t pay a huge shipping charge for a couple of small items. They altered my order without my permission. DON’T BE LURED BY THE LOW PRICE, THEY DON’T HAVE THE STUFF. EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU THEY DO, THEY DON’T.

Do not buy from Botach Tactical.  Slow shipping, rude customer service if the ever answer the phone.  Took four days and a several phone calls just to get a tracking number.  Item still wasn't shipped.

I had a fairly pleasurable experience in dealing with Botach. They had great prices, good selection and I would not have any hesitation to order from them again. The only "con" was that the shipping was kind of slow, It took 9 days to recieve my order however they are on the other side of the country.

I ordered a part as pictured on their web page and received a totally different part. Customer no service is slow to respond and for the most part rude. They hint at the fact they believe i am trying to rip them off somehow by asking for a part or model number on a part that is too small to print such a number on it. i offered to send a photo of the "supposed to get" item and the "got" item, too no avail. To date ( March 28, 2007) they want me to send them the part (one they say is not the wrong one) with NO promise of delivery of the one I ordered.
I ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau only to find I am one of HUNDREDS to file a similar complaint. BEWARE !!
p.s. the shipping was more than two weeks late as well. Some kind of error between them and shipper.

Worst company I have ever dealt with PERIOD. The screwed up my order on three separate occasions. You think I would have learned my lesson but their prices seemed pretty low compared to other Internet vendors. Problem is they have TERRIBLE SERVICE and they won't sent you the correct merchandise. When you try to return a product they sent you in error they won't send you a return postage label. Their customer service department won't respond to emails sent or return your phone calls. Very fast to cash my check, but when the items sent had a problem, the person simply said I can just keep them (knowing well that they dont work) after a while i asked for an exchange, the answer was a simple No, which then i wanted a refund. Items were sent back, and I KNOW that they didnt work, but the person there said they DID...well the refund isnt 100%, and don't ever ever expect them to EVER refund you 100% of the money that you worked hard for.
Very simply;they are fast to take your money, and then you get stuck with something that isn't working, or kiss your money goodbye.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE! I ordered two sets of a Peltor Tactical 6 headphones and after almost two weeks I received a box with a letter. This product is backordered but in it place we have mailed you this item instead. What?! THIS IS HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. I have ordered from Botach in the past, so I didn't really hesitate when I was looking for a hard to find holster. I placed the order online only to find out AFTER calling them that the holster would be back ordered for the next several months!

Not a problem... I let me order go and figured they would ship it when available. About a month later I got a notice saying the item was shipped, my card was charged, and I was happy. Unfortunately there was no product shipped, it took two months of calling them to get a refund, and now I will never do business with them.

I left messages, sent emails... anything and everything you can think of, but it still took two months. The prices are definitely good, but if you need any customer service, forget about it.

This operation is a scam. I went to their site because they advertised some well priced scope mounts. I ordered six items in all, but only three ever came - and not the scope mounts and another discount item.

I emailed them a number of times over the course of two weeks regarding the status of the rest of my order without any response. My last inquiry, which I copied to all their customer service people, received the following one sentence response:
"We didn't ship the items because we dont care [sic] them ."

So, they apparently lure customers with great prices on certain items, which they don't actually carry, and then only ship the portions of your order that they want to fulfill.

Stay away from this company - you have no way of knowing what you'll actually get from them.

Terrible! Sent wrong product to me while I am deployed and would not work with me at all until they received the product back ($30 dollars worth of return shipping from Iraq later). Still waiting on a refund to this day. Botach has screwed a service member out of $170.00 to date!!!

After 10 day and no delivery I emailed Botach got no response. On my second email they said part of my order was backordered. I then called and asked to speak to a supervisor and there apparently isn't one. Never received a call back and no apology. This is a BAD company to do business. I will NEVER order from them again

Botach seems to have good prices on special products, but the truth is they are a bunch of crooks. I canceled a order after I found out their Horrible service, but it has been more then a month and I still did not get my money back. DO not do business with these people, and Rosy the customer service lady is ABSOLUTLY NO HELP.

this store sucks and the customer service really sucks.i paid for two day shipping and i did not recieve my order for well over two weeks.i guess they were mistaken.at least it has a number two in it.i sent them an email after not recieving my product for over 3 days and it was not returned so i called them and couldnt get them for over an hour.i finnaly got someone to answer the phone and she was very rude with me.i just wanted to know what the problem was. she said the item was backordered but nobody bothered to tell me by email.they finaly sent me an email back 2 days later.

By far the worse online store i've ever dealt with. After almost two months, only half the order was sent. Half of what was received was wrong. Contacted them again, shipped the wrong items back. Some of the correct items were shipped to me another month later. At the end, six months later after dozens of e-mails most of which were no answered they still owe me $40 for the two wrong slings that i sent back. I've given up on getting the money back. Several other items were never shipped but I wasn't charged for these. They are a complete scam. Prices are dirt cheap but think what you get for it. Nothing. Would never even consider buying anything from them again.

After reading several other reviews I was at first hesitant to order from this company.  But I decided to give them a chance, as I have seen that many reputable companies receive bad reviews from people who just are not satisfied, no matter what the company does.  I must admit that I was quite pleased with Botach Tactical.  I sent in my order, expecting at least 2 weeks for them to ship my product, due to their low low prices.  My order shipped out the following day, and arrived only 3 days after I ordered it.  My order was complete and well packaged, to protect the items I had ordered.  I don't know about their customer service, as I had no reason to call them, but I was extremely happy with their product selection, prices, constant updates on my order, and quick shipping.  They have proved themselves to me, and will be the first place I go next time I need something.

My online order ignored for almost 2 weeks now.  I get an answering machine -- they do not return calls.  Email inquiries are not answered.  I've since cancelled order but no reply from them.  I'm preparing for possible dispute process with them, with my credit card.

The website was easy to use for ordering. I ordered a tactical sling, a CAA collapsible stock with a pistol grip, and an adjustable cheek attachment. I got the sling within a few days but then waited and waited for the other items which never arrived. I e-mailed them several times and they told me it was backordered and then that the items would be shipped directly from the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer and they didn't have my order, which told me that they lied to me. I requested refunds by e-mail, phone and fax and no action. I've ordered items from them before when I worked at a police department before and got good service, but in this instance, they have been terrible and acted like they were committing a fraud! I would not order from Botach again and I am telling everyone to avoid them. Try http://www.lapolicegear.com instead! They ship quickly and have great prices and they have kept their word.

DO NOT BUY FROM BOTACH! I ordered a couple of rolls of specialized tape from them. Instead they sent to generic rolls of duct tape. The only thing in common with what I ordered was "black", "roll" and "two". They denied they sent the wrong product, and refused to pay for return shipping. I suspect it is intentional substitution of cheap products for the product you order. Horrible responses to my phone and email requests for a correction to the order. They are totally oblivious to their reputation -- clearly don't care.

I purchased a Bladetech Nano iwb holster and some shooting glasses from Botach Tactical. The order was processed immediately and I received the items in a few days. They ship UPS and provide tracking numbers. The items were exactly as pictured. It was a very pleasant buying experience. Their prices are great. I recommend checking them out.

I realize that in the past we have had some issues in that department, but I assure that they are the exception and not the rule.
