Pros: No crowded stores, no lines - stuff that comes to my door Cons: You have to plan ahead because it takes a while to get to you
There are several CVS stores within easy walking distance of my home and office. However each and every one of them is, without fail, ridiculously crowded, understaffed when it comes to check out and usually out of what I am going in for in the first...
Pros: free shipping if you spend over $35, good selection, easy to use site Cons: if you don't spend $35 you will be paying $4.95 to ship your items
I discovered this site largely because, in person, I embarrass easily. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year. This requires, among other things, that we need to buy ovulation predicting kits and pregnancy tests. Regularly.

Never again, I will do no business with cvs ever again by k9kuma ,Nov 06 '06
The worst pharmacy, ever. Horrible experiences. Cvs has promised my prescription to be ready by a certain time, though it never is, and ussually the prescription is not even in after they already tell me it will be ready at a certain time, most of the time it isnt ready for days. The organization is horribley mismanaged by inept employees.
It is a freaking nightmare. by wildginger324 ,Jan 10 '08
I placed order on 9-Jan, and received my shipment after 11 days. The item I ordered was 12 boxes of Prosure, which is for cancer patient. I needed this and ship it out to Asia, for my dad, who was diagnosed with cancer, and needs Prosure to help gain back his weight.
However, after I received it, I did not notice the expired date, and ship it internationally to Asia. When my dad received it, he found out 8 boxes out of 12 are expired in Nov-06!!!!! This is so unacceptable for a well-established pharmacy to ship out something that is expired. This is just a nutrient drink, but imagine if they ship out expired prescriptions to people who need the medicine to recover!!!!!
CVS history of prescription medication fill errors by Civic68 ,Apr 30 '06
RE: CVS online pharmacy
PROS: Online option is a plus. Web site bright, cheery and user friendly
CONS: Major medication errors by this pharmacy have been reported and currently allege 80 prescription mix ups or just the wrong drugs to the wrong patient in one state in 2005. CVS voluntarily hired a non-profit firm to oversee and improve their prescription dispensing practices due to these errors.
I considered using the CVS online option but could not in good conscience place a prescription order with CVS after researching the company.
Absolutely horrible, will never shop with them again by shazz39 ,May 09 '07
2 orders to PO boxes were shipped UPS twice! Took numerous phone calls to get problem straightened and orders finally sent USPS. Latest order arrived damaged, UPS returned to cvs.com who promptly sent a replacement order and charged my credit card a second time!! Now waiting refund and still waiting for order to arrive.
Very easy to navigate and well maintained by dsaurer ,Jul 17 '06
The CVS Pharmacy online is a very helpful website for someone that has a disability like myself and my wife that can't go through the store due to narrow aisleways for a wide wheelchair.
My wife and I have been using CVS Pharmacy online for over 6 years and not once had any problems whatsoever. You can basically ask for refills when needed at a click of a button. What I really love about this site, you can actually add additional items from the store to the Pharmacy order with no hassel. I can purchase hearing aids batteries, for instance, greeting cards, snacks, over the counter medication, and so on and so forth.
The people that operate the website at customer service are very friendly if you are having a dispute over the site. They easily fix your problem with helpful advice and service.
CVS Pharmacy online, a great tool for everyday life with a peace of mind.
DO NOT use CVS to order prints online!!! (4 or 5 days!) by whuddageek ,Feb 16 '06
Terrible. In today's digital world, taking a week to get prints of digital photos is ridiculous. We all know it should take 1 to 2 hours to finish the process, not 1 to 2 days to get the prints done and then 1 to 2 days to mail the prints to the store of your choice. Go anywhere else for online printing of digital photos!!
Their site says 1-2 day service. That's a complete lie, a fallacy. It might take 1-2 days to get out of pnimedia.com, whoever that is, but then it takes another 1 or 2 or 3 days to get to the store.
Terrible, horrible, awful service. The same lines someone talks about in their store is what you'll find online.
Terrible! Shipped out returned skin care products by hahajicyclone ,Jul 31 '07
It's a really bad experience. I ordered 3 Neutrogena skin care products from CVS.com and eventually I got 2 with broken seals and 1 with no seal at all.
