You can always trust the quality of their products. And if you find you aren't satisfied- ever- return it! (six month returns on computers) Don't expect much customer service- it's a warehouse and that keeps the costs down. Expect bulk amounts of most items and great deals on high-end and specialty items.

Costco customer service is unbeatable!! Highly recommend their online store. Costco has me as a cutomer for life!! I bought a leather sofa & loveseat from the online store 2 years ago. I cannot clean either piece since the leather is not colorfast. I called the online store & was told they would send a truck to pickup the furniture and REFUND MY ENTIRE PURCHASE PRICE. I have never experienced this type of service at any other store before.

Shopping at Costco.com is as bad as shopping at their brick and mortar stores. The only positive no long lines. Their electronics are often outdated (newer models available) or low end products from good manufactures. Their return policy on computers is a joke. I would avoid ordering from this site. This is a company going down hill fast.

Typical good quality internet sales. Odered my item, then before confirming, got the shipping and tax amounts. They provided Tracking numbers and got my order in 1 week. They had one of the loweset prices as well.

Avoid the hassle

Avoid ordering from this site unless you like hassles. You shouldn't expect much in the way of customer service if they mess up your order. They actually sent me a discontinued printer that was different from the one they had on their website. Further, I was on hold forever. Then I had to go through the same process again. Nice! Thankfully it was a monitor and printer that weren't complementarity items, or who knows how long I would had to wait. This is the last time I shop at Costco.com, or Costco for that matter. I am canceling my membership and putting this amateur outfit behind me

No furniture for 6 months after placing order

I ordered a bedroom set from Costco.com in May, my credit card was charged in June and I recieved a damaged set in the 1st week of July. I refused delivery, spoke directly to the vendor and was promised another set in 3 weeks. It is now 15 weeks and still no furniture. Costco.com has been extremely poor in their customer service and follow up with the vendor. I have spent several hours chasing the vendor, only to recieve false assurances about the delivery date. I am fed up and am wondering if I should take legal action.

Costco - Excellent prices, and Excellent Customer Support.

I purchased a canon digital camera, and 5 weeks after my purchase, the item went on sale. Their customer service was excellent. They allowed me to return the item and receive a total refund for the item including shipping charges, and sent me a new digital camera at the lower price. I have found both Costco Stores and Costco Online to be the best in customer service and support. Whenever I have purchased items which have gone on sale after my purchase, they have given me excellent service. I have never had any problems with anything purchased from Costco.

My recent experience with Costco.com when ordering a bundle 2 LCD TVs has been very disappointing. The order is over $1300 and yet the delivery required NO signature, thus no tracking of who received it. I DID NOT receive it at all even after wasting the whole day waiting for it to arrive. While they will credit back the credit card, they would not replace the merchandise, which I think it is very unprofessional. Trying to get to a real person at the Costco.com customer service number is very frustrating. They can hang up on you via those automatic questions and responses. While I've been a very loyal Costco customer, I do not feel strongly about ordering from Costco.com. I do not recommend the web site, no matter what kinds of deal you may be getting!!

Very bad experience twice with shipment.

I would never buy any items that requires special delivery from a shipping company other than fedex, ups or USPS. Costco uses shipping companies that are rude and not cooperative. So please stay away from buying from Costco online. Items shipped on schedule but problems with delivery. You need prepare to stay home entire day as you don't not know when the shipping company deliver. They don't provide schedule of time of delivery and not available on all week days.
Customer service is another issue. If you complain they say someone will call you but never calls back.
I will not buy again from this site that requires delivery.

I've been a Costco member for quite a while and have even ordered some smaller items from their online store. This is the first time I've purchased furniture from them online and I guarantee it will be the last. I can certainly understand that there can be issues with shipping, especially of large items but there is no excuse for the lack of customer service. Over half a dozen emails have gone unanswered over the last two weeks. Three calls to customer service resulted in promises of return calls which never came. Horrible service altogether resulting in my cancelling the order and my membership. Their prices aren't great and I don't feel that I need to pay $100 a year for the privilege of being ignored when my $2500 item fails to arrive.

Excellent service, Positive, Positive Positive Experience

I have ordered many items on costco.com. Some examples are an outdoor pool table, living room furniture, air cleaners and bike lifts. The white glove service they offer is excellent. I personally shop at Costco because of their no hassle return policy. I am tired of shopping at stores that treat you bad when you need to return something or act like they are doing you a favor when giving a refund on an item they sold that is defective. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Bad experience

I have been shopping at Costco for many years and am very happy about the products and prices on some of them. Last month I ordered online for the first time. I ordered an elliptical on 10 November 2006 and today is 19th December 2006. The delivery company called me last week (after a month from order date) to schedule a delivery for Tuesday this week. I had planned my schedule accordingly. Today (tuesday) I got a call from the delivery company saying my item had not reached them yet so it will be delivered on Wednesday !!! On the Costco website it said 3-4 weeks for delivery. Its been 6 weeks and item has not yet been delivered!!

Cancelled order but never refund my money.

I ordered an air purifier from Costco.com. They shipped me a computer monitor. I refused the shipment (of course, I already have 2 pc moitors and 3 laptops) and called costco to cancel the order because I couldnt wait another week. My allergy had gone bad. The rep told me over the phone I'd get a full refund within 10 days. It's been 3 weeks and still no refund. I have to dispute with my credit card which is something I HATE to do. I should have gone to a local walmart and probably got the same thing at the the same or cheaper price without wasting my time.
Overall, this would be a good website to shop if they do what they promise or there's absolutely NO problem with the item/shipping. I shop online all the time and most major shopping websites refund your money as soon as you report shipping problems or they get returned items back but not at costco.com.

I orderd a sectional from Costco, spending $2700.00 plus.. The sectional was delivered on Dec 8th, but one piece was missing. Did not discover this until my wife got home. I have been trying to contact Costco every since with no luck. I have spent a total 2 hours on hold for customer service. I have called the corporate customer service phone number and they say the only thing they can do is tranfer me to the online people. Well, those are the people that don't answer their telephones.. I asked the guy at the corporate number if he had and other ideas who could help me...his answer was basically no...only the online people.. I have also sent emails to Costco about my problem, as of this time no answers, and not even a response that they have received my messages....This is looking like my last order with Costco online....The sectional is very nice...The service is ZERO !!!!
