I see that there are numerous negative reviews for this store. I have ordered from it about 3 times and am happy to say that my order was not only accurate and arrived in a timely manner, but the movies I ordered were the cheapest prices around! I'll continue to shop at this store because of this and if I experience anything other than the service received so far, I will be writing another review. For now...I am satisfied with this store.

It took them five weeks to cash my check. The item said reserved but as soon as my check cleared the item was on order. I waited a total of two months before I got my DVD set.

I used to buy from DVD Empire quite alot, but then I found this site DVDDestination.Com and they have all their DVD's at a discount of at least 30%off and an In Stock DVD Selection I couldn't believe. I order from them every week, and I'm always happy with them. Sometimes I was stuck waiting for a DVD Empire order, and now I hear about all these problems with their customer service. At DVD Destination they even have a Live Online Customer Support feature which makes it easier than ever to get in touch with someone and they are always polite and helpful. I once lost a package with DVD Empire and never got a Replacement, yet at DVD Destination a package wasn't delivered 7 days after I ordered it, so they sent a Replacement out that day, no questions asked. I used to think DVD Empire was good, but after shopping at DVD Destination I'll never go back!

I found a DVD I wanted at DVD Empire for a great price so I ordered it. It was supposed to be new. However, when it arrived there was no manufacturer sticker seal across the top that all new DVD's have and the DVD itself had a few minor scratches. Looked to me as if it was a used DVD. DVD Empire also sells used DVDs so it wouldn't surprise me if they had sent me a used one instead of new. When I called customer service to inform them of the scratched DVD that I had been sent they gave me a song and dance of excuses and were very unaccommodating. The sales rep said that she could only take the DVD back for store credit and that I would be accountable for all shipping costs. I wanted a full refund so that I could buy the DVD locally from a trusted seller. She was very uncooperative so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was more helpful but still would not reimburse me shipping fees for a scratched up DVD that they had sent me. Very unreasonable and I will not do business with again.

I like titles that are very hard to find, and I found almost all at DVD Empire.com Plus, very fast shipping, very cheap and competitive pricing, and great coupons sent to me. I was very pleased with all of my experiences with them and plan to buy again...I fully recommend checking them out.

I find them to be honest and deliver movies ion a professional way. They take returns with no problems and give them a high mark of excellent marks.
