I have a sneaking suspicion that they've started outsourcing customer service--I laughed when someone on this site suggested it, but I fear it may be true. And that's too bad, because when I called about a year ago, the girl I talked to was very nice and helpful.

This time, I didn't have to wait, but the rep who got me didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I tried to do a drop ship (different shipping address) and she said it was already shipping. It wasn't so much what she said, but her tone. It was: "Tough luck. I'm not going to do a thing like send an email to shipping to help you." I've worked in shipping; I know you can do that.

I looked online after my call; it still said IN PROCESS, which it does for a day or two before it actually ships.

I had only placed the order an hour before. I sent an email shortly after placing the order, realizing that I had the wrong shipping address.

I recently purchased a Phase Linear In Dash car radio from Deep Discount via a well known auction site.  The first radio had wiring connection problems resulting in horrible static; it was returned to Deep Discount and replaced.....with another radio with the same sort of static. Having informed the seller of this, we were advised to return the radio again and we would only have to pay shipping and handling plus a 20% restocking fee for the faulty radio.  Since the total of these various charges very nearly equaled 100% of the original purchase price, we decided to purchase a new radio elsewhere.  It works perfectly.  I sincerely hope our experience is an exception rather than the norm.

Deep discount DVD is the Greatest. They always have what I need at the lowest price on the net. They ship fast and take care of any problem (rare) quickly.Free Shipping is always available. I have never found a better place and I have looked all over.

I pre-ordered a game (SF IV) well in advance and didn't get my copy. Other outlets that let you pre-order seemed to have shipped theirs. In addition, I placed an order for another item that showed in-stock, but wasn't. My order was subsequently put on back-order (they didn't even have a clue when it was going to come in if ever) while their website continued to show the item in-stock.

From reading others, this comopany has a long history of doing lottery order. Meaning all their items show in-stock regardless of real availability. If you are lucky you might get your order, for everyone else you are destined to the poor and non-existing customer service.

Order at your own risk, but I highly recommend going to another retailer. Not worth the hassle.

It has been 16 days since I placed my order and have yet to receive the item. It took them over a week just to ship the item (or, at least, that's what they've told me). Beware.

I ordered four DVDs from them; all at great prices. I got three of the four DVDs that I ordered at a reasonable time. Unfortunately, the fourth DVD never came. When I contacted them, they had told me that it was on its way. Two weeks later, I had to contact them again since it didn't arrive, and they told me that it was delivered. Funny since I never got it. I don't know what could have happened to it. Deep Discount DVD refused to send me a new one; very poor customer service. So, basically I got stiffed on my order and I didn't end up saving any money at all.

I still have not even received my order, yet I was billed for it! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

After multiple late deliveries i called DeepDiscount's support and was told directly that upon any purchase, you must wait at least TWO DAYS for verification of your credit card! Even if
your a returning on going customer. Basically meaning that they CANNOT get you a package in 1-3days!! BUT they do offer that service and will charge you for it!!! Of coarse they do offer free ground shipping but its generally very slow, taking two weeks and sometimes more. UPS can ship a package anywhere within the US in no more than FIVE days. This mean that DeepDiscount can sit on your order for over a week before eventually shipping it.
