There is only a few select dvd stores online that I will shop with and I do most of my business with Deep Discount DVD or Amazon, and most all of the time Deep Discount Dvd has the best prices out of any store that I have researched online. I have always received my products under the estimated delivery time and I highly recommend this store above all other online stores. There has only been two or three times that I have found dvd's cheaper elsewhere but most of the time Deep Discount Dvd has the lowest prices and free shipping is included also, I am a very repeat customer and also love the follow up and tracking that they supply with your order. This is a very trustworthy site!!

I love these guys! Great prices and service. I used them to buy dozens of DVDs. For example, I collected the entire set of Star Trek on DVD. I was able to pre-order the ones I wanted even before they were released, and was the first kid on the block to get mine.

Although their prices are good, their customer service is horrible.

I recently placed an order for three DVDs. A day or so after I ordered, I noticed they had raised the price on one of the DVDs, prompting me to send a piece of e-mail to them to make sure that the DVD wouldn't be charged the inflated amount. All told, it took three pieces of e-mail and SEVEN days for them to respond to that simple query.

When I received the DVDs, I noticed that one of them (a multi-DVD set) had a wrong DVD for its first DVD. I contacted them again via e-mail asking what I should do. Again, this time, it took them SEVEN days for them to respond telling me they'd send a "postage paid label" to me.

It's been TEN days since they told me they'd send the label. It hasn't arrived yet.

For a company that's on the Internet, they seem to not know how to use the Internet to communicate with their customers.

I do not recommend DeepDiscountDVD.com.

For a while, I was a big deep discount DVD fan. They had low prices and would send everything by USPS instead of UPS (for those of you who live in apartment buildings, you know why USPS is better). One experience has put them on my whitelist forever, though. I ordered His & Her Circumstances Vol. 5, and they sent me Friday the 13th. When I called to complain, they said they'd mail me a pre-paid return label, and when they'd received the incorrect DVD back from me, they'd send the correct one. The label took over a week to get to me. After a couple of weeks, I'd heard or received nothing from them. I eventually wrote them and said if they had not yet sent the correct DVD they should cancel my order. An hour later I got an email from them saying they'd just sent my order out. It's been nine days since and I still haven't received it. It's been a total of seven weeks since I first placed my original order with them, and I'm p-ed off. They're never getting my business again. They lost a valuable customer.

Do yourself a favor...go to any other website and order a dvd and pay for shipping. Do not get sucked in by the 'Free Shipping' from Deep Discount DVD, unless you don't mind waiting a month to get a DVD. I ordered 'Sex and the City' season 2 on 4/18/04. On 5/4/04 I called to ask them where the dvd was. I was told to please give it another couple of days. I did. On 5/10/04 I called again. They said they would re-ship priority mail this time. On 5/14/04 when there was no dvd in my mailbox, I called. They said they did re-ship but not until 5/13/04. WHAT??? Anyway, their prices are ok and the free shipping really did sound appealing. I have had more aggrevation than any customer should ever have to endure. I feel bad for their customer service people, because after speaking with 4 different ones, it seems like they get many complaints about their shipping times.

I ordered SCTV vol 2 - the price was the same as overstock.com, but I used a discount code [ SPIKE ] to get 20% off. I chose free mailing and received my order within 2 weeks. The order was correct, and there was no damage.

I ordered because they ship internationally. Even though it's not free (like it is domestically), their shipping rates were very reasonable. After much contemplation, we ordered 3 DVDs from their site. All 3 were in stock. All 3 shipped out the first business day after I placed my order. I received them all within the estimated delivery time (it took 11 days). The DVDs were great quality! They came in their original keep cases. The sound and picture quality was the same as if I had purchased from the retailer down the street (in the USA). Overall I was VERY pleased. Their prices are just great. They even have a price match option! Great experience. Great Site. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Deepdiscount DVD is the worst, I ordered a Christmas gift DVD in early December after the web site said "in stock" and now 01/20/04 and no DVD. I just sent an email last week and was told it hasn't shipped yet because it was backordered then I received a second email two days later saying it shipped 12/31 and they can't supply a tracking# as I requested. Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks on a decent company.

I order at least 20 DVDs from DDD each year. In every case but one the service was excellent.

Not only did my request,(The Life of Leonardo Da Vinci, come within the specified promised delivery time, Deep Discount provided the package at a price 25 percent less expensive than then next best offered and less than half of what Amazon was requesting.

On two separate orders about 1 month apart, I purchased Twilight Zone DVD Collection 1, Jetsons DVD Season 1, and All in the Family DVD Season 1. Each time, my orders were processed quickly and accurately. They offer free shipping as well as other shipping options. They send 3 emails when you place your order: 1) to confirm the order, 2) to confirm the in-stock status, 3) to confirm when the order shipped. I will shop here again because they have great prices, free shipping, and they are reliable.

I've ordered a few movies from them and had an average wait of about 5 days except for the one that they have told me they were out of stock.
