Online ordering was frustrating - their system reported errors in my input, but did not explain all of them. The order timed out and I assumed terminated. I tried again the next day and it was accepted. I then get a call at work from Patricia who says she was confirming my order, but was more interested in finding ways to add on to my order. I had little patience for this as I knew what I wanted when I order, had gone through all the options of "build your computer" and was asked several times by the order process if I wanted options. I then get an email from Dell saying my order was pending. I call and find out that the first order that was not confirmed was still in their system. I was told to let it lapse. I've ordered computers before without such a struggle from Dell. I hope this is an exception.

I am having big problems with Dell's Finance Department they have taken more that hundred dollars out of my bank account in November. I have a monthly aggrement with them for a 25.00 automatic withdrawl. I cannot reach anybody who speaks or understands English well enough to help stop the weekly bleeding of my bank account.

I cannot answer questions 6 & 8. I still have a gift certificate which I was unable to use and I have not heard anything back from Customer Service on this although e-mails have gone back and forth. Someone needs to use the thought process and not just push e-mails back and forth. My gift certificate was good thru June 2009 and I was constantly told thru e-mail that it had expired. No one has confirmed that I have a good usable gift certificate and until that time I think the service and e-mail "canned" answers need to be looked into. I just wish someone would give me an answer why my certificate is NOT GOOD when it states EXPIRATION DATE; JUNE 2009. It's easy to push keys on the computer to send answers, but someone needs to look into the problem and give me an answer. Shirley Braspenninckx. I have to answer question 7 yes because in checking around Dell is the only one to supply these ribbons otherwise, I would certainly obtain them from someone else.

Dell provided exactly what I asked for and I was very happy once I got past their weekend approval process delay. Since I ordered on a weekend and received my credit limit towards puchasing those products, it appears that a phone call was still necessary to clear that transaction. Once that phone call to me was made, processing went very smoothly and very timely (actually made it to me days earlier than promised so that was a surprise). Over all I am very satisfied with the product as well as their customer service (ok so I hated the prompt based system that sent me in endless loops but once I got someone on the line - things went perfectly smooth).
