I grew to hate the rhododendron in the heavy pot sloppily spray-painted a cheap gold color. As a wee lad, I struggled to maneuver the pot outside my grandparents florist in Brooklyns Bay Ridge section every day I worked there with my...

My cousin is in the hospital and in need of some cheering up! She had an operation, stayed two days, went home only to be rushed back in with 2 clots in her lungs! Not a good place to be! ;o(

Little more than a year ago my Mother passed away unexpectedly. My 8 Feb ’01 posting [FTD.com’s Floral Cross Made My Cross More Bearable] detailed how that site served our family in our time of sorrow. [I had to delete that posting in order to...

Pros: Easy to use site makes it easy to cheer someone up. Cons: It's not THAT easy, you still should call the florist with any instructions.
Love is a language, and flowers speak it well. This is my experience with FTD.com.
I was making dinner for my partner at his place last week when he came back from work. The little foyer in his apartment is usually where I’ll greet him on...

This site is just ideal for lazy people like me. We have used FTD.com to send flowers to a number of people, and the beauty of this is flowers and gifts can be sent to folks all over the place. Why? There's probably an FTD-affiliated florist somewhere ...

In Christmas 2003 we ordered several flower arrangements. One was from 1800Flowers.com and two were from FTD.com. We'd ordered from FTD years before over the phone, but never through their website. FTD is generally more expensive than 1800Flowers, BUT we ...

Pros: Reliable service, beautiful reasonably priced arrangements Cons: None
I have had two occasions when I have needed to order flowers over the internet. Both times I chose www.ftd.com and I have been pleased with my choice both times.
When my grandmother died a few months ago I sent flowers to my grandfather...
