FTD Failed to deliver on time or serve

I paid extra to ensure my order would be delivered this V-Day 2008, on 2/14/08. The flowers never arrived, the customer service live sated due to the holiday and large call volumes they would not answer the call and auto disconnected. After calling corporate headquarters to get someone on the line they aid the flower did not make it due to bad weather in Memphis TN....Weather.com stated is was 78º and sunny!!! Anyways dispute all charges with your card issuing bank and force them to pay the penalties for violating Visa and MC rules.

SHIPPED LATE AND WONT ACCEPT CALLS. NEVER AGAIN

my valentine flowers got delivered a whole day late. and they were practically dead without any fillings (baby breaths) pictured on their site. on the delivery box it stated to be delivered by feb 14. got it on the 15th. called the 1800# and automated msg says they are not accepting calls due to busy holiday season. also my co worker ordered flowers for a wedding from ftd.com, it arrived 3 days late after the wedding. they also called but the same automated msgs says they can not accept calls at this time. my friend only got half of the refund through small claims court. and another friend of mine who got floweres from ftd.com recieved it on time, but it was the wrong order (gift card message was to another person). All experiences with ftd.com are horrid. especially when calling reguarding an order that they messed up you can't get through them. only through a lawyer you can finally reach them. how f**ed is that?

Hi Everyone, Well I too ordered flowers for valentines day and alaa they never arrived. After stewing in anger and calling customer service multiple times only to receive a busy signal I went searching for other FTD customer service numbers, I found one and if you ask for customer service you should be transferred right to an operator.

1-800-669-1000

The woman I talked to was very sweet (I make it custom to be very nice at first, you now that whole flies with honey thing) She refunded my money (or so she says, I haven't checked my bank account yet) and sent me $10 off my next order, which I will never use!

I ordered flowers for delivery on Valentines day almost 2 weeks ago. They were not delivered yesterday and I sent an email to customer service (2 actually). No response whatsoever. You couldn't call in either as all you got was a message that due to the high demand, we could not confirm deliveries. The florist put them on the front step, didn't leave a note apologizing or even ring the door bell. They could have sat there all day.

This is my last time with FTD. This has happened before and there are too many other options available.

AVOID THIS SCAM ASAP!!!

VERY unhappy with the way they handled my Valentines order. Flowers were late, and nothing like what I had ordered. Customer support is no where to be found. No matter what option i choose from the auto system it says "were having heavy call volume" and hangs up on me. Will never use this service again!

HORRIBLE-WILL NOT SHOP THERE AGAIN

I placed a SAME DAY DELIVERY order for my daughter (in the hospital) on Monday, Feb 11, 2008 and it has STILL NOT been delivered as of Thursday, Feb 14, 2008. It has been impossible to get through to complain because they are too busy with new Valentines Day orders (that will probably not be delivered today) to worry about existing orders. The real frustration is not that a mistake was made but that I can’t get in touch with anyone via email or telephone to resolve the matter of a refund. Every time I dial that number, I get angry all over again. And, to add insult to injury, FTD’s automatic emails keep coming to my inbox today stating that “its not too late for same day delivery”. What a crock!

DO NOT USE FTD

Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day, but knew better than waiting to have them delivered on Valentine's Day.

Order placed on 2/6 and scheduled delivery on 2/12. Oh yeah plenty of time right. Wrong! FTD did not have the flowers delivered until 2/13, they were the wrong flowers and even the wrong vase, and to top it off the flowers were already wilting.

Customer service number is a JOKE! I've been on hold 3 different times today for more than 40 minutes each time.

Usually I could come up with some intelligent comment to describe a company with poor service or products, but for FTD all I can say is FTD SUCKS!

Avoid FTD unless you want to make the WRONG impression.

FTD once again fails to do what its business model is. Take money, deliver flowers.

I ordered flowers at 9:30 am CDT for delivery same day. I receive a call within an hour of placing my order telling me that my Airline Miles account that was to be credited for the purchase wasn't being accepted by the system. I provided another carrier and another number on the phone call and was told my order would be completed. Please note I DID get charged for the order.

No flowers were delivered. No emails or calls were sent to me, no notice that my order had been cancelled was given until I called this morning for a status. They cancelled my order for no reason, they are now saying I will have my refund in 30 days! You want to keep 225.00 of my money for 30 days due to YOUR incompetence? I don't think so.

FTD SCAM

Be careful. After ordering flowers from FTD, I was automatically signed up for something called reservation rewards, which automatically deducted $10 from my credit card each month. I would never willfully sign up for such a thing, but apparently there was some fine print on the order where if you didn't check off a "no" box you are signed up for it. After doing a google search for FTD scam or reservation rewards, I discovered there are many others who have been scammed. FTD took no responsibility and said it was my own fault. Needless to say, I'll never place an order with them again. I would estimate I send flowers at least 8-10 times/year.

Complete dissatisfaction with FTD, very bad customer service

Second time in 2 years complete dissatisfaction with FTD! The flowers weren't delivered AT ALL and FTD even did not contact me about it. My last order was at 01/15/2008. 17th of January was the order date but it never happened. 3 days after I contacted to FTD, I got an email that is saying “their goal is to respond with me within 24 hours” but it did not happened. Then I sent another email to explain the situation, I got an email to respond that they apologize for my order not being delivered on the date requested and if I still want my gift delivered, they may give me a discount late delivery. I accepted their offer and confirmed it. That was 26/01/08. Since then there is no news at all. I also learned that my order in 2006 was not delivered that I paid for!! “The person I sent the flowers is my wife now it is how I learned” How embarrassing!!

Gift Cards from FTD is a SCAM.....

My wife and I got (2) 25$ Gift Cards when we did our taxes. The problem? We can only use (1) card at a time. Nothing is under 25$ to order so you have to use the card and also shell out more out of pocket money to send anything, even though you have $50 worth of gift cards. Call the Customer Service number but turns out nothing we can do. I cut the cards in half because I'm not giving them 1 more cent...

Worst experience and would not give them business again

I'd ordered same day service for delivery for National Boss day. Placed order at 11:30am and received notification at the end of the business day that there were no florists in that area. It was to be sent to a downtown business in a City of pop 400,000. If they would've told me sooner, I could have gone with another delivery company! Their supervisor wouldn't even give me a discount for offering to send the gift on the following business day. The same day delivery claim is a complete sham.

Disappointing experience with the quality of the flowers

The shopping experience was fine but the quality of the product delivered was very disappointed. I ordered a bunch of roses for delivery in Austin (TX) and half of the flowers died within 3 days. FTD.com clearly didn't live up to their promise of "We guarantee fresh, beautiful floral arrangements and plants that will last at least seven days".
When I complained about the quality issue a week after the flowers were sent I was told that my "email was sent after the 7th day, so there is not anything we can do for you at this time."

Terrible I ordered flowers for a sick friend was assured they would get there the same day that was fri 06/15/2007, never arrived today is Sat 06/16/2007 and still not delivered. This is not the first bad experience I have had with FTD, but it is the last. I think they charge the local florist so much that they don't give a damn about dealing with them
