Most terrible experience I have even had!

My Valentine order was still not there two days later. All attempts to reach them to ask about order at their 1=800 number never answered, except for one time that said I could expect a 60 minute wait. All e-mail answers were "pat" answers with "friendly" little quips that they appreciated hearing from me, etc. But, no real answer. I think they need to close their business, it is so bad. My overall satisfaction is: it is the worst experience I have ever had with anything. Is hard for me to even find the words that describe how bad it is.

Flowers were late and already wilting when they arrived

Ordered for delivery on Valentines day. Flowers arrived on the 15th and were wilting and broken. Can't get ahold of anyone at FTD.com, I guess I'm not the only one calling to complain. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere. It's bad enough they flowers were late, it is kind of crucial that Valentines flowers get there on Valentines day, but to arrive looking like they did is beyond bad business.

My Valentine's Day order arrived on Feb. 15th. Just great. Not only that but the arrangement fell far short of the picture on the web. Could have done better in a supermarket for 1/2 the price.

Like pretty much everyone on the forum, my Valentine's was ruined because of FTD... THEN, they have the audacity to turn off their phones and not answer customer service calls. My husband ordered me a dozen long-stem roses in a vase with filler on Tuesday February, 13. Granted it is a little bit late, he was still guaranteed next-day delivery. Well, it is Friday February 16th @ 2pm and I JUST received the delivery. Not only are the roses LATE but they came in a BOX with no vase, dried out and wilted.

My husband paid $100 for a beautiful Valentine's bouquet to surprise me at my office. The roses I received, however, were more of an embarrassment (arriving 2 days late) and then being wilted and dead. I will never use FTD again. They have horrible customer service and actually refuse to be held accountable for it. I will now be contacting the BBB to take further action.

The worst I've EVER experienced. I write this as I wait to speak to representative, going on 40 minutes now. I truly can't believe how bad they are. They suck so bad, so bad as to be unbelievable. Faceless assholes and thieves is all they are.

DEAD FLOWERS, NO REPLACEMENT, NOBODY ANSWERS FTD PHONE OR RESPONDS TO EMAIL

I received a dozen roses on Feb 13. My fiancé had them delivered a day ahead of V-Day so that I could enjoy them longer at work. They arrived late Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday morning, two roses were dead. I called FTD to complain but could not get through on FTD's 800 line - it disconnects you. I tried the email form and the system would not accept my order number. Hello, the number is printed on my paperwork so why do you say it is "INVALID"? I was able to email a complaint to customer service and I asked for replacement roses in accordance with the "7 day guarantee". Today is Friday, 48 hours after the email was sent. I have yet to receive a response from FTD and the phones still do not work. Oh, and all of the flowers are dead. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOW-END COMPANY!!!!!!! Flowers from the grocery store are of better quality...and cheaper!!

Updated: All flowers were dead on Friday. As a last-ditch effort, I emailed the CEO Monday with pics of the dead roses. Three hours later, a friendly rep called. They are crediting my card with a refund. Persistence pays!

For Valentine's Day, I ordered a dozen red roses plus vase plus Godiva truffles chocolate on 2/12/07 to be sent to my daughter. To make a long story short, roses were received 2 days PAST date, wilted and brown around edges in a box, no vase, chocolates were substituted for cheaper variety. I was given a tracking number for delivery, upon contacting delivery service, I was told no such tracking number existed! I tried countless times to reach customer service by phone, once when I got through they basically said the tracking codes were no good and there was nothing they could do, if it didn't show up, tough. I also emailed customer service during this time, response was by email they would get back. I requested a refund and am waiting...
I have since heard other people were experiencing the same problem with FTD order for Valentines. Today I received notification from delivery service the request wasn't received until 2/14/07 at 9:31 PM! FTD - Just tell us you can't do it - don't take our money and not honor the agreement!

I can't even get through to customer service!!! I ordered flowers on tues. for wed. delivery - still nothing. I even tried the local numbers at the corporate office - the phone just goes dead or it says that they can't take my call. What a bunch of losers. I will never use them again. From now on, it's local florists only for me. Thanks googlemaps.

Wow ... who knew it was possible for FTD to ruin Valentine's Day

They are, as of today, 2 days late in completing a simple delivery of flowers. I keep hearing that there is a problem with the address and recipient phone number ... both claims are untrue as I just called her two minutes ago. The customer service number is down today (convienent for the customers) and non-responsive email service. Obviously FTD does not need my business nor will have it after all of this wasted time and effort.

I will try 1800Flowers next time.

I ordered flowers for my wife for valentines day. They never arrived and their customer support is not taking calls for the last three days.

I have seen similar comments on a number of sites, in reviews for FTD.com

I hope I can get a full refund. The way they are handling their customers right now, does not look like it.

I would not shop there again and would recommend everyone to avoid it.

I order flowers for my wife for Valentines Day 2007 well ahead of time. Valentines Day comes and goes, no flowers. Needless to say this ruined the day for me. The next day I request order status several times during the day and get nothing but a standard response about them contacting the florist. At the end of the day the flowers still haven't arrived. At that point I cancelled the order. I get back a standard reply saying that the ordered can't be cancelled. I replied that the order was indeed cancelled and that if a prompt refund wasn't given I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. I don't know yet whether they will do the honorable thing or force me to into a dispute. Don't use this company. Deal directly with a local florist if at all possible. I sure will.

On Valentines day, 2007, my girlfriend was supposed to receive flowers at work. It was our first Valentines day together, and I hadn’t ever gotten her flowers before. On occasion she made some grumbling noises about that fact and I was excited to give her the first floral arrangement on ‘Lovers Day’. Well, long story short… those flowers never came.

They SUCK

Very poor quality. I received V-day flowers from my husband. The majority of the flowers were brown and crinkled on the exterior petals. Several were wilted over, one had a broken stem, and the leaves on this stem were dry and crispy. I tried to call them, but their phone system has been down for the past 2 days. I wrote an email and have not heard a response. I would not recommend this company.

I ordered 2 dozen roses for Valentine's. They sent one dozen, presented very very poorly. I called them that day (Wed) and they "were not accepting calls." On Thursday, I called them again and they "were not accepting calls." On Friday, I called them, and they "were not accepting calls." Although they did find the time to charge my credit card for the full, overbloated expense. The punchline here is that their company slogan is "Good as Gold Guarantee." That is a complete, 100% joke. I will never use them again, nor will I ever use any florist in their network again.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with ordering flowers. Ordered early, guaranteed delivery on the 14th, guess what, no flowers. Now for the rest of the story, my wife and I have been having marital troubles. When she did not get a Valentine's present, she said that is the last straw and packed her bags and left. After a long night of crying, I called FTD on the 15th and had to stay on hold for an hour. They offered to refund my money but never said they were sorry. As I hung up the rep said "I hope you will use us again!". I went ballistic and told her that FTD should pay for my divorce and alimony from now on(along with a few other words). This is just another example of big corporate America killing this country.
