Ridiculous stupid silly little company

Valentine's order placed two days in advance, no email confirmation, no delivery, nobody answered phone, no response to my email, on hold for 30 minutes (and counting).
They did one thing correct, well almost. They charged my bank account. But somehow managed to overcharge by $12. The one person I was able to speak with told me that their system had crashed. Huh? I guess the crash affected just the part of the system that takes care of business and not the part that takes your money.

Don't bother for Valentine's Day. It was worthless.

Don't bother for Valentine's Day!! It was worthless. I ordered online well in advance, received delivery confirmation via email stating flowers would arrive at my girlfriend's residence on 2/14 as late as 9 P.M. They never came. Reported non-delivery at 11:45 P.M. and received an automated response email stating I would be contacted within 24 hours. It never came. On 2/16 girlfriend called custserv 800# and waited on hold 40+ minutes. Managed to bust them for a 35% discount. Flowers finally arrived two days late. I was never contacted by anyone. Whether or not I actually receive a credit for 35% remains to be seen. FTD LEFT ME OUT ON THE TILES... DON'T RISK LOOKING LIKE A FOOL!! Do it the old-fashioned way. Next time I'll pick up in person from a local mom and pop florist.

Incomplete Delivery, No Customer Service

I ordered a bouquet for my husband for Valentine's day, and paid $15 extra to have chocolates included (he's a chocoholic). Imagine my surprise when the flowers arrived sans chocolates. They'd also made substitutions to the flowers, which sometimes happens, but who puts funeral lilies in a Valentine bouquet?
I tried for two days to reach them by phone, and sent email as directed. After an hour on hold tonight, their customer service rep said "Oh" and offered to refund my $15, nothing more. No apology, no added discounts or anything to make up for having sent an incomplete gift, just lackluster service.

Terrible experience. Avoid them

I ordered flowers for a girlfriend on the 13th as a valentines day surprise. Nothing showed, not a call, not an email. Horrible service. I called a few times on valentines day to see if they were going to show, and the phone system disconnected several times. Finally late afternoon got through and I was told by customer service they will arrive by 5pm. Nothing arrived. Really disappointing experience.
I would not recommend ftd.com to anyone and will tell all friends, family, and co-workers to avoid them.

Well, I am still on hold (2 hours later) with FTD. Deliver of valentines day flowers from my kids still have not arrived. My daughter is upset as she sent flowers to her mother in law in a town 40 miles away and she rec'd hers flowers. Now the battle is on. Let them pay the 800 # charges and we will take our business elsewhere.

Flowers were not delivered and I have yet to hear from their customer service. Phone service is a 45 minute wait. I will never use them again.

I ordered roses for my wife to be delivered on Valentines Day, and of course they did not show up that day. I called FTD the following day and reached a busy tone. No one was answering the phones!!! Horrible Service!

Abandoned for Valentine's

Awful, awful, awful... if there is one thing you should get right if you specialize in delivering flowers it is Valentine's Day. Have e-mailed them three times and tried calling repeatedly only to be left with a busy signal. What a disaster. Don't take the chance on FTD, found that 1-800-FLOWERS was much better. When things go wrong, they seem to run and hide.

Ordered flowers for my wife for Valentines Day on the 13th and thought I was doing well, even a day early! I received a confirmation email saying they would be delivered on the 14th, but they never showed up. I tried four times to call the customer service number and got a busy signal every time, so I'm telling my credit card company not to pay. I thought FTD was suppposed to be the pro!
if you want to send a gift to say you're thinking of someone, this definately is the wrong vendor to do it!

RUINED MY VALENTINE'S

I ordered flowers online at FTD.com When the ordered arrived to my significant other, there were all dry and some of the rose buds were badly bent! That's not the worse of it. I had written a note that was an option to be included. Instead of receiving the note I put so much thought into, she received someone else's cheesy note. Her coworkers asked who this Mike (the individual who wrote the note she received) is. She was embarassed because people jokingly said she was cheating. What's worse, their customer service is unreachable and I have yet to have this resolved. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I suggest just going with a local shop that will deliver. It would be cheaper and the flowers fresher.

Quick processing and shipping; fresh, fragrant roses.

I ordered one dozen yellow roses around 9pm on a Sunday night. I was skeptical of them arriving the next day because it was a holiday. I discovered that in order to receive a shipping confirmation, you have to sign up for one through the customer service section of the website--it is not automatic. I received a confirmation that they had processed my order on Monday morning, but did not get a confirmed delivery that evening. I learned later from the recipient that they were in fact delivered while she was out (maybe since no one was there to sign for them, the confirmation never went through?). Not only did they arrive on time, they came with green ferns and were fresh and fragrant. I hope that they last for the full seven days for which they're guaranteed.
My one complaint is the price of shipping. The shipping charge was four times as high as what I would have paid had I purchased from overstock.com. Overall, I was very satisfied.

FTD's "service charge": cheesy, sleazy, and very disappointing

I have a major negative experience to report with FTD.com, that blinds me to everything else about them: Their pricing "scheme." They have a separate "service charge" FOR TWELVE DOLLARS ($11.99) that is NOT OPTIONAL. They deceive you into thinking that the flowers cost less than they actually cost. They do not mention the service charge -- or not in a way that I noticed -- in the initial listing of prices on FTD.com. I think that is dirty pool, and a terrible way to treat customers. They should tell you the final price, "service" included, right off the bat. And to me it's a joke to separate the "cost of the flowers" from the "cost of the service." The costs of running a flower delivery business are extremely integrated; you can't tease out "the cost of the flowers" and "the cost of the service." "Flowers" vs. "service charge" is an arbitrary distinction, designed to trick customers. And, tell me, why does the service charge price end in ".99," if they are not trying to trick you? I will seek other providers for my flower and gift business.

I sent flowers to my mother for her birthday in November - she received them quickly and just loved them! So I will remember this company - I usually use Proflowers (frequently) which are also good but will use FTD too now vfor variety.

9 days no delivery/given credit for the trouble

I usually order from 1-800 flowers. But I wanted the order to be delivered as soon as possible. so for $15.00 extra added to the already $10.00 deliverly charge. I ordered from FTD, what I thought would be a trustworthy company.
My family members in Ct. have not received the order yet it is 9 days after the delivery date. I have sent them 3 e-mails asking about the order. Have never gotten a reply. So to the phone, I was on hold for quite a while.Finally I get to talk to a rep.and she says my order was placed correctly but was never given to the Fed ex to be delivered. She credited me the $15.00 extra shipping & gave a 20% discount for the trouble.The order should be delivered in 3 days.(fingers crossed)
