Tired of ordering contact lenses through my optometrist, I opted to purchase them through Lens.com and, hopefully, save some money. While the website processed the order (and charged my credit card) quickly, it took the company several days to ...

Very disappointed when I went to order contact lens to see that the total price was higher than the sum of the items. I could not figure this out until I went to the help pages and found that lens.com is applying a "temporary handling charge of 6.5%" automatically to orders. This is especially disconcerting as it was not itemized in the shopping cart, nor does it show when doing comparative shopping. This equates to unfair marketing practice in my opinion. Anyone purchasing needs to review their total cost carefully as it is not the sum of the items!

Last year I had a good experience from this store, but will be shopping elsewhere for this year's contact lens order.

They do not communicate your order status is they will fill the order or not. I am not satisfied with the lack of service.

I love this place.I can get a six month supply of my contacts for far cheaper then going to my optometrist.Even adding the 2-3 day fedex shipping they are cheaper then what I would have paid at the dr.The first time ordered it took a few extra days due to the fact they had to confirm my Rx but still got the product within a week.Every time since then I have gotten the products quicker.I have never seen any extra shipping charges added to my order except what I chose to add to get it faster.simply stated by going here I get my lenses cheaper and faster then if i had gone to the dr.I will keep shopping here until given a reason not to.
