Terrible customer service via internet and email, Telephone OK!

Customer service stinks! Judy did not reply to 2 online messages I left, said she only got 1. Why ddin't she respond? Left 2 emails, the one she responded to was the one stating I was taking my business elsewhere! Did not send my credit app out when she promised. They had the best price and best financing package which I was quickly approved, but took my business elsewhere even though the price was higher. If they ignore the customer before the purchase, what chance does he have after the purchase. I really got fried when Judy laughed about the financing paperwork delay. I did not consider her mistake to be particularly funny. AN apology would have been more appropriate. Maybe if I had dealt with someone else I would have had better results!

An easy and satisfying experience.

It took only four days for my Powertec Leverage Bench to arrive. Ordered on Tuesday and arrived on Friday by LTL common carrier. The three boxes were exactly what I ordered and nothing was damaged. There was actually a little bit of a misunderstanding (my fault) and it was taken care of promptly.
I spoke with Bill and Tony on different occasions and they responded quickly and efficiently to each and every issue that I raised. All of my silly and inept questions were answered politley and correctly.
Great place to do business with. My only disappointment was that they do not take American Express, which is the card that I prefer to use.

They gave me a great deal, offering a better and more expensive product for the price of a lower product which they no longer had in stock. Delivered exaclty when they said it would, and it was in perfect condition. Salespeople were helpful and knowledgeable about the product line, and happy to answer additional questions. The only downside is that their 1 year "same as cash" deal required mailing a paper form back and forth, which added 1 week to the delivery time. However, they were clear about this on the phone, and the timing was not an issue for me. Also note -- they are the catalog/mail-order division of the Body Solid fitness equipment company, meaning they a) are not at all fly-by-night, and b) only carry Body Solid products.
