One of the stores that my husband likes to patronize is G.I. Joe's, however the closest brick & mortar location is approximately 30 minutes from our home (on a good traffic day). So – being the good wife that I am – I introduced him to G.I....

I was looking for a fleece sleeping bag liner and ordered one from Joe's Sports online store. Though it was polyester, it wasn't fleece. My error. I had to return it. I called to make sure of the procedure - was told I had a "smart label" and to return it to any post office. I tried. I was turned back at the counter - "this label isn't prepaid." I called CS again - "We'll send you a smart label." It never came. I called again - "Use the label you have and take it to a UPS counter". They refused it too. I called again - "You'll have to pay to return it at the post office." I did - multiple phone calls and 3 trips out with the package. I wrote a letter asking for my postage back for all of the trouble and I've never heard from CS. I won't shop at Joe's online again. I prefer REI, where there are full descriptions of merchandise at the website, and you can return purchases at the store for free.
